Accusations like ’useless members of society’ being handed out to people mealy because they attend electronic music events is typical of the ignorance young people are facing these days.
Lets see, a few so called disorderly people were arrested. The only disorderly behaviour I saw was the national guard beating young party goers.
A 15 year old was prevented from overdosing on E. Thats a good one, because all people that take ’E’ overdose dont they, surely thats why people take it asshole. A couple of under age people are bound to sneak into any event so I dont see armed soldiers finding one 15 year old to be a major disaster averted.
Drug use is an incredibly wide spread at all youth events, not just electronic. So you can either practice harm minimisation and education to stop people overdosing, or you can raid all youth events and arrest people further isolating young people.

Im glad I live in Australia where the last 3000+ person event I went to had police at it. But they were hired for the event as security and spent the whole night standing around being bored (one was bopping to the beat a little though). All police and security guards ive spoken to at EMF’s report its one of the better gigs as for large crowds theres seldom any violence. I know ive never seen any.
