> Military used on US soil! to shut down Utah Rave- attack innocent civilians, photographers, kids

"Useless members of society" mearly because people attend an electronic music event is just the kind of ignorant shit that young people have to deal with today. So some arrests were made, there was disorderly conduct? The only disorderly conduct I saw was the National Guard beating up young party goers.
A 15 year old was prevented from overdosing on E. Of course because everyone that takes ’E’ overdoses, surely thats why people take it genius. At any large music event your bound to get a few underage people sneaking in, so if armed soldiers managed to find a 15 year old I dont think they have averted any major disaster.
Drug use and sale is wide spread at all music events, not just electronic. So you can either practice education and harm minimisation to prevent overdosing or you can raid events, shut them down and arrest everyone creating further resentment and alienation among young people.

Im glad I live in Australia where the last 3000+ people event I went to had cops, but they were hired for security and spent the whole night standing around looking bored (one was bopping to the beat though). All the police and guards ive spoken to at EMF’s have said its one of the better gigs, as for large crowds theres seldom any violence. I sure have never seen any.
