I never wanted to believe something like this could happen in my country. I am in Slidell and have been without electric 18days so have seen no TV coverage. Do I believe now? I guess I have to as FEMA/Red Cross have refused to help most of us that stayed within the Katrina area. I am so ashamed of my country, my president, but my city the Great New Orleans will be back. We are a great people and we will fight for the right to live and work where our hearts are.
I want to say Thanks to all the people reporting truth. I want to send blessings and prayers to my wonderful Mayor C. Ray Nagin- God bless you. My vote will always be on your side.
