> New Orleans tragedy: The 17th street levee was bombed

18 September 2005, 15:23

Well, snake approached the subject. There is little value in bouncing back and forth epithets of one’s opinion of normalcy. After all, we all must believe in our ramblings (except, of course, the provokers, whom, I must add, tend to use their spell-checks more efficiently than the rest.)

But to the point; Grow your own food. Start your own business. The government is obviously no longer competent to protect or even aid you. Get over it. Do it yourself. This —was— the power of America. If you don’t wish to operate as a free individual, there are some excellent havens into which to retreat. Chevez appears to be doing an excellent job in his arena.

But if you wish to stay, suck it up. It’s far less effort expended to succeed than to fail, or even tread water. But count on spending a tad more energy.

Or you could just sit around wringing your hands in the hope that social security someday might apply to you.
