i live in metairie not far from the 17th street canal. i know for a fact that there was a barge in the canal, right by the new bridge they built at old hammond hwy. i know it was there the day before the storm hit cause i rode out to west end and i saw it on the way. also the next day on tv they were showing aerial views of the canal levee breach ,there was definetly a barge on the wrong side up against a house. what happened to those photos. did they all of a sudden disappear?
