Firts of all who is this white cracker to say that the 9th ward was necessary to bomb to save a richer part of New Orleeans. I’ve been a resident of Baton Rouge all my life and I love the city of New Orleans regardless of the flaws we as African Americans face in the city. If this person would step foot for one day and see the conditions people are forced to live, then he or she could understand why somethings happebned the way they did. This person also talked about oppurtunity, the school’s weren’t granting the equal oppurtunity for African Americans to prevail, but regardless we still pushed for a change. For this person to say his tax dollars aren’t worth reubuilding a historic neighborhood New Orleans just shows how racist this country really is, and what we as African Americans are up against. WE NEED TO UNITE TO OVERCOME THIS OPPRESSION OF IMPERIALISM.- William Noble
