It was indeed terrifying to watch the actions of the troops in New Orleans, making the flood seem gentle in comparison to their jack-booted tactics. Smashing open doors, yelling at the top of their voices, pointing weapons directly people’s faces, always pointing weapons, alway menacing people who have lost possessions with the loss of their lives by sanitary rifle. Bullying IS a Bush Bolton tactic, and they love to frighten people, scare them silly, threaten them, and make them tremble before their imperial might. New Orleans seemed more like a Nazi war scene in a Jewish ghetto with STorm Troopers lined up to scare the shit out of them. If this be Bush "compassionate conservatism" then the world is in very grave trouble from the most dangerous people to ever hold U.S. office. Frightening the poor may be the way to win votes from the wealthy... who knows?
