> CHAVEZ WARNS BUSH AGAINST INVASION OF VENEZUELA TO SEIZE OIL RESERVES

25 September 2005, 05:14

Simply check out the history of your country.
For starters one place to start is:
Going to War: Unravelling the Tangled Web of American Pretext Stratagems 1846-1989 by Richard Sanders. Google should pop it up in less than .15th of a second.
It is a brief overview of your countries overt and covert invasions of foreign countries.

The fact that the US supported the last coup and approved its Dictator Carmona for a brief twenty hours or so, before he was turfed out by the people, put everyone on notice in Venezuela.
Rumsfeld wondered why Chavez now needs 100,000 AK-47 rifles, this is not a difficult question for most Latin and South American countries to answer.
They have experienced a long history of the US Marines and their unwelcomed visits.

The Full and Part warriors are busy in Afghanistan, Iraq and the deep south at the moment.
"The Commander In Chief" may not have enough boots to put on the ground or rifle butts to smash in doors of Venezuelans yet.
Its only a question of when, not if, should GWB get his way.
Its just not Arabs, Persians, (and hurricanes) there are a lot of other unhappy campers in the world not impressed with this chap who takes orders from God.

The moral of the story is, that a countries past history is usually a good indicator of its future behavior...we just can’t give you a date...sorry...
cheers, jt
