> Vice President’s role in outing of CIA agent under examination, sources close to prosecutor say

16 October 2005, 05:38

The administration’s outing of Plame, while interesting, is not the real story.

The real story is the source of the bogus "Niger Yellowcake" documents. For an indicator of
who was responsible for the forgeries, look at Messrs. Ledeen, Rhode, and the Israeli spy, Franklin. These people had a series of meetings in Rome in 2003 with some Italian SISMI and P2 people. (oh, yeah ... Iran Contra’s Manucher Ghorbanifar was there, too ...)

Now, Ledeen, Rhode and Franklin would not operate on their own. Look at their bosses. Feith and Perle come to mind. And who do Feith and Perle work for?

We can see that there is a very good possiblity that Cheney, et al. orchestrated a Watergate style bag job at the Niger Embassy in Rome, in order to get the seals and stationary required for their forged documents. (Try Robert Sheldon Lady as one of the bag men).

With the "Niger Yellowcake" documents being shopped in Europe, and finally bought by the British, the administration now had the "proof" it needed.

A truly spectacular crime, which overshadows Plame.

And could bring down the criminals.
