I am a legal alien and am insulted by your remarks. I spend at least three hours a day keeping up with all that is going on in my adopted country. I have actively participated in non-partisan organizations which are trying to keep democracy in our country by assuring that the votes at elections are counted properly. I speak out-to my detriment-and continually try to keep my neighbors informed of the important issues at hand. I talk in line-ups at the grocery cashier stands, I financially have and still support progressive causes. I read newspapers evey day from all over the world. I do all of this and more because I love the ideal of what is America and I believe it can come about.
