May 8, Dear Mr. Parry, Your column "Washington the Unaccountable" is beyond splendid. It was an honor to be able to read it. Years ago I read a book by Konrad Lorenz entitled "On Aggression" in which he said the only species that kills for fun is the human. How sad. Your comments about the columnist Thomas Friedman of the NYTimes were the same thoughts that echoed through my mind during the reading of his recent column. i.e. what side is he really on concerning our war against Iraq.
