Alternative Space/ESF-Preparation 18-20 June in Berlin

Dear friends an comrades,

We want to invite you to join the meeting for the preparation of our
partcipation in this years esf-process. At the bottom of this Mail
you’ll find a text from colectivo presente which gives a short summary
of the aims of the meeting and the alternative space at the esf. The
meeting is going to take place in Berlin, Köpenickerstr. 55 in the
"Verdi"-House (Verdi is a german Union). It’s going to start Friday,
18th June at 19.30h, and we have rooms for the whole weekend if
necessary. The first aim on Friday would be to find common ground for
our Intervention in the "official" ESF-Meeting on Saturday, furtheron
we’d like to discuss how an alternative space (such as the "GLAD" in
Paris) could be organised and filled with our common political ideas
and actions.

We expect following Groups/Networks to join the meeting: The Structure
which organised the "GLAD" last year, the nordic anticapitalist network
(NAN), autonomous groups from Berlin and northern germany, groups from
england plus everyone else who is interested in participating.

Until now no further specified proposals for the meeting were sent, so
we’re going to have a kind of open discussion. If groups/people already
have proposals, it would be great to send them around a few days before
the meeting, so people would have the possibilitiy to discuss them.

Please tell us also how many persons from your group are coming to
berlin so we can set up the sleeping-places.
