The massive demonstrations in European capitals and major cities in support of the people of Gaza highlighted once again the core problem: the vast majority of the Left, including communists, agrees in supporting the people of Gaza against Israeli aggression, but refuses to support its political expressions such as Hamas in Palestine and Hezbollah in Lebanon..

Israelis, in Crisis, Vote for a Government of War
13 February 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
By Nicola Nasser*
Dust of Tuesday’s voting battle settled down and the battle of forming the next Israeli government has just begun. With Benjamin Netanyahu poised for premiership and Avigdor Lieberman, leader of a “racist and fascist” party (as condemned by Talia Sasson of the Merez party) very well positioned to be the king or queen maker of the next ruling coalition, the Palestinian people and the whole region will have to brace as from next March for an Israeli government of war. UK "Left" New Statesman joins Anglo Mainstream media in CENSORING out Obama’s war crimes
10 February 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
I have been reading the UK New Statesman magazine for all my adult life. It provided some kind of alternative to the outrageous lying by commission and omission of the mainstream media of the Western Murdochracies. However the New Statesman has CENSORED out carefully researched data on White Establishment creature Obama’s huge war crimes for his new Masters in his first few weeks of office. Obama is the ultimate Uncle Tom – and he has just started.
Recently I published carefully researched (…) -

9 February 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
“Overlooking the fertile Ayalon Valley between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv sits Canada Park, a 7,500 acre recreational area covered with pine forests. It is bisected by a winding path the John Diefenbaker Parkway named after the former Canadian prime minister who inaugurated it. Canada Park is a source of pride for the Montreal and Toronto Jewish philanthropists who in 1972 donated more than $15 million to help build it. A brochure of the Jewish National Fund of Canada that undertook the project (…)

"An American Strike on Iran is Essential for Our Existence": AIPAC Demands "Action" on Iran
By GARY LEUPP
Former CIA counterterrorism specialist Philip Giraldi, comparing the propaganda campaign against Iran to that which preceded the war on Iraq, has recently declared, "It is absolutely parallel. They’re using the same dance steps-demonize the bad guys, the pretext of diplomacy, keep out of negotiations, use proxies. It is Iraq redux." He’s only one of many in his field (including (…) -
Canadian MPs take more free trips to Israel than any other country
8 February 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
Members of Parliament accepted free trips to Israel more than any other country, a report by Canada’s ethics commissioner reveals. Lawmakers’ trips to Israel outnumbered other destinations nearly 2 to 1 during 2008.
The report on "sponsored travel" shows that the Canada - Israel Committee paid more than $160,000.00 to send 24 federal politicians on trips to Israel, often with their spouses...

The Second Case
Anis Hamadeh, February 5, 2009
Summary: This essay is about Gaza and the German silence between 1945 and 1968, about Israel’s myths and the situation of the Palestinians who are labeled with negative stereotypes, while Jews are labeled with positive stereotypes. The Gaza pogrom was carried out with the participation of German desk-perpetrators and this would be the pure form of racism, emerging from the middle of society, something untenable in Germany. This second case (…) -

AvtoVAZ, Russia’s biggest automaker, is stopping its conveyor indefinitely, the company said in a statement Friday evening.
“The conveyor was stopped on Thursday for an indeterminate amount of time due to nondelivery of auto components," the statement said.
The company’s official announcement seems to be at odds with assurances made by AvtoVAZ chief executive Boris Alyoshin to (…) -

WMR) Israeli expansionists, their intentions to take full control of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and permanently keep the Golan Heights of Syria and expand into southern Lebanon already well known, also have their eyes on parts of Iraq considered part of a biblical “Greater Israel.” Israel reportedly has plans to relocate thousands of Kurdish Jews from Israel, including expatriates from Kurdish (…) -
