In 2008, Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential candidate, pandered to pro-Israeli voters and Israel by promising in a speech addressed to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), that Jerusalem would forever remain "the undivided capital of Israel".
Three years later, Obama is on another pre-campaign trail in order to improve his chances for re-election (…)

21 May 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentObama’s 19 May 2011 speech on the Middle East is extraordinary for its comprehensive dishonesty involving egregious deceit, lying by commission and lying by omission. Obama’s falsehoods in his 19 May 2011 Middle East speech are so numerous that one must confine analysis to the biggest lies.

30 April 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
Is it fair that the Iraqi parliament has agreed to pay $400 million to a group of Americans who say they were traumatized or tortured during Saddam Hussein’s rule after the 1990 invasion of Kuwait. The parliament session was sparsley attended. The case was not clearly explained. What’s so unfair about that? .

Is Myanmar At A Crossroads?
25 April 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
So far 2011 is proving to be an eventful year for Myanmar, formerly known as and still generally called Burma. Despite the slight easing of restraints put on Aung San Suu Kyi, the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Shan State in northeast Burma on March 24, which the junta controlled media says killed 75 people but aid agencies believe killed over 150, leads to widespread distrust of the country’s rulers and their version of reality. Now the U.S. is sending a new envoy to Myanmar, Derek (…)
