The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed. - Stephen King
George W. Bush hauled stakes for Texas and a vacation a few days ago. Cindy Sheehan followed. She got off a bus Saturday afternoon and started walking to the Crawford ranch. She wanted some answers and was going to get them.
Sheehan had met Mr. Bush once before. On April 4, 2004, just shy of a year after Bush stood on an aircraft carrier beneath a banner that read "Mission (…)

Depleted Uranium, Anthrax Vaccine & The Gulf War Syndrome, Part 1
9 August 2005by Dr. James Howenstine
More and more veterans have become chronically ill from a multitude of symptoms since the end of Gulf War I. For many years the U.S. government denied any responsibility for their mysterious symptoms. Only 7,035 men were injured in this war. A total of 580,400 soldiers served in the first Gulf War. It’s a grand Old Hoax
8 August 2005It’s a Grand Old Hoax (sung to It’s a Grand Old Flag)
It’s a grand old hoax Full of daggers and cloaks One the press may forever supress When the towers fell They did not dwell On why George remained in that class Or how they came straight down All the way to the ground Just as if the demo was planned The evidence does not support The story they told this land
For the next surprise That was greeting our eyes Saw the pentagon burning in flames The key to our defense Breached without (…) -

To Grow out of Unemployment
8 August 2005By: Sam Vaknin, Ph.D.
There is a connection between economic growth and unemployment. There is a connection between growth and inflation. Therefore, commonsense (and financial theory) goes, there must be a connection between inflation and unemployment. A special measure of this connection is the Non Accelerating Inflation Rate of Unemployment (NAIRU). Supposedly, this is the rate of unemployment which still does not influence inflation. If unemployment goes below NAIRU, inflationary (…) -
London bombings and after
8 August 2005By MR JOSSE Many questions have been raised by the July 7 and attempted July 21 terror bombings in London, including whether they were the outcome of the UK’s involvement in the America-led war on Iraq.

DEBATES
While much has been made of Pakistan’s Islamic seminaries, as Peter Bergen (…)
