To control population movements is one of the States priorities. It is, in particular, to select with care the labour force needed for the economy, and this in a general context of deterioration in the standard of living. This selection requires the reinforcement of imprisonment of people called “undesirable”, border controls and raids, dropping visas and an intensification of the struggle against the ones who in one way or another go against keeping under control population movements. PETITION : Freeze Mubarak’s stolen fortune, give it back to the egyptian people !
18 February 2011We need you to reach 500,000 signatures !
https://secure.avaaz.org/en/mubarak...
Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has been swept from power by extraordinary public demonstrations against his corrupt regime, but unless we all act now he could take billions in stolen public money with him.
Mubarak is estimated to have amassed up to $70 billion across the world! Governments have just days to freeze these assets before Mubarak, his family and inner circle can hide them. Switzerland (…) -
Capitalism kills => Science-based eco-socialism, green socialism & climate socialism for India & World
17 February 2011Science-based eco-socialism, green socialism and climate socialism are urgently needed for India and the World. Capitalism kills over 5 million annually from imposed deprivation in India and 18 million annually from deprivation in the Developing World (excluding China).
India is an egregiously corrupt, Western-style, capitalist democracy which means that the Indian Government (for the rich by the rich) ignores the horrible reality that most Indians live and die in extreme poverty. Like (…) -
Palestinian September 2011 Deadline Doomed
17 February 2011By Nicola Nasser*
The international Quartet of the US, EU, UN and Russia on Middle East peace and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) seem set on an agenda that perceives September 2011 as an historical political watershed deadline. Among the partners to the Quartet – sponsored Palestinian – Israeli “peace process,” practically deadlocked since the collapse of the US, Palestinian and Israeli trilateral summit in Camp David in 2000, only the Israeli government of Prime Minister (…) -
Climate Energency: Science and Equality demand Eco-socialism, Green Socialism and Climate Socialism
17 February 2011The climate emergency means that science is now demanding Eco-socialism, Green Socialism, and Climate Socialism - morally informed by the equality of man, science is supplanting the arguments about Capitalism versus Socialism previously dominated by economic and politics theorists.
The purpose of a "society" is surely the common good, but capitalists justify the increasing proportion of the cake taken by the wealthy since the 1960s by the claim that capitalism is superior to socialism in (…) -

Morocco: it’s complicated
14 February 2011BY KATHERINE MARSHALL I FEBRUARY 7, 2011
The rapid-fire events in Tunisia and Egypt have caught people everywhere by surprise. That’s especially true in the neighbourhood (North Africa and the Middle East). As I headed for Morocco for a weekend conference, I hoped to emerge with a far clearer understanding, both of what sparked these popular upheavals now, and what might lie ahead. What I found were people torn between a euphoric hope, especially at the unleashing of freedom of speech, and (…) -
US, Apartheid Israel, torturer Suleiman et al. pervert Egyptian Revolution, continue Egyptian Holocaust
14 February 2011The US, Apartheid Israel, torturer Omar Suleiman and traitorous Egyptian Establishment are perverting the Egyptian Revolution and continuing the Egyptian Holocaust and Egyptian Genocide in which 22 million Egyptians have died avoidably from greed-imposed deprivation since 1950.
The Egyptian Revolution has seen off US-backed, pro-Israel dictator Hosni Mubarak but time will tell whether the US, Apartheid Israel, the Egyptian military and the corrupt Egyptian Establishment will be (…) -

Harper Follows Israeli Line on Egypt
http://www.faithfulnews.com/content...
"While the world is cheering on the Egyptian uprising, Harper is siding with the despotic regime...It’s scandalous that a Canadian prime minister is saying that. And whereas he has always tried to please Washington to protect our trade, in this case he has preferred to please Israel.."
