Death by Work
15 October 2009By David Glenn Cox
The Bible observes that the wages of sin are death, but what then are the wages of virtue? What are the wages of work? As average Americans’ wages fall and our economy collapses in on itself, Wall Street flourishes as foreign investors move in to take advantage of the weak dollar. It was Mark Twain who noted that “God knows when even the sparrow falls. That’s wonderful that he knows that, but what does that matter if the sparrow still falls.”

Is Canada More Pro-Israel than the US?
13 October 2009by Yves Engler
"...It’s hard to find a country friendlier to Israel than Canada these days. Members both of the coalition and the opposition are loyal friends to us, both with regard to their worldview and their estimation of the situation in everything that relates to the Middle East, North Korea, Iran, Sudan and Somalia. No other country has demonstrated such a full understanding of us.." Avigdor Lieberman, Foreign Minister of Israel

One Big Circle
11 October 2009By David Glenn Cox
As the late Jim Croce once said, “Gonna tell you a story that you won’t believe.” The other day I read a news story about NASA’s measurements of the growing ocean acidity in the Arctic Ocean. The acidity of the water was making the ocean warmer because it was holding more heat and removing less carbon dioxide from the air. Then fortunately, or unfortunately, I was sidetracked by the next big Tea Bagger movement.
The Google ad at the bottom of the page said “An (…) -
