Shopping malls are running on empty
1 December 2008Shopping malls are running on empty
By Roger Vincent and David Pierson November 24, 2008
Life Plaza Center in San Gabriel used to teem with diners heading to Green Village, a Chinese restaurant in the middle of the horseshoe-shaped mall on Valley Boulevard.
But after the eatery closed five months ago, the 7,500- square-foot space remained vacant. With no tenants stepping forward and fewer customers clogging the parking lot, the plaza is quiet, with a curiously dark core.
It’s a (…) -

A peculiar email from Paul Bell, a dean at the University of Oklahoma, was sent on Friday, November 21, 2008. Since that time I have obtained verification of it from the OU Open Records Office. It is now scanned and online at this public Facebook album:
The recipients were department chairmen and directors on the Norman campus. I first (…) -
Evidence Mumbai Attackers were Anglo-American Intel Operatives
30 November 2008Evidence Mumbai Attackers were Anglo-American Intel Operatives
Kurt Nimmo Infowars November 27, 2008
As a BBC report notes, at least some of the Mumbai attackers were not Indian and certainly not Muslim. Pappu Mishra, a cafe proprietor at the gothic Victorian Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station, described “two sprightly young men dressed in black” with AK47s who were “foreign looking, fair skinned.”
Gaffar Abdul Amir, an Iraqi tourist from Baghdad, saw at least two men who (…) -

Things are getting crazier by the day. On Tuesday, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson announced that the Fed would commit another $800 billion to fight the financial crisis which has spread to the broader economy and is causing sharp declines in consumer spending. The Fed plans to buy $600 billion of mortgage-backed securities (MBS) from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and another (…) -
Israel’s Settlement on Capital Hill
30 November 2008’Israel’s hilltop settlement in our nation’s capital (must be) dismantled.’
"With [traditional Israeli defense strategists] it’s all about tanks and land and controlling territories... and this hilltop and that hilltop. All these things are worthless." - Incumbent Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Soon after the sand settled following the Six Day War in 1967, Jewish settlements began dotting the hills in the occupied territories. These settlements are typically located on the high (…) -

Global Research, November 30, 2008 Market Oracle - 2008-11-28
The mainstream media is increasingly full of stories of either Britain going bankrupt or the coming deflation associated with the recession. Whilst both are now obvious given the economic data and government actions however what is missing from the headlines is that under the weight of the exploding public sector debt (…) -
A Parallel Universe
30 November 2008By David Glenn Cox
The scientists toil in their laboratories and build billion-dollar super colliders under the Earth’s crust looking for the secrets of the universe. The heirs of Einstein tell us with confidence that other universes exist, other dimensions where our rules and means of existence simply do not apply. It’s fun to think about such things as a mental exercise, as cranial gymnastics, but if you had to do that type of work all day every day most of us would be dead within a (…)
