The situation in Syria is still in the focus of world media. Experts predict another U.S. aggression for “human rights”. Washington regularly declares its readiness to attack Syria. The official version – to punish al-Assad and Syrian army for the use of chemical weapons against the civilian population.
Meanwhile, the media has spread new proofs of the U.S. intelligence involvement to chemical attack near Damascus. Hacker got access to U.S. intelligence correspondence and published U.S. (…)

US intelligence officials to Obama: It wasn’t Assad
9 September 2013A dozen former US military and intelligence officials have told US President Barack Obama that they are picking up information that proves Syrian government was not responsible for the chemical attack near Damascus on August 21.
“We regret to inform you that some of our former co-workers are telling us, categorically, that contrary to the claims of your administration, the most reliable intelligence shows that Bashar al-Assad was NOT responsible for the chemical incident that killed and (…) -

This War Too Is A Lie
8 September 2013Some smart people thought, and perhaps some still think, that the 2003-2011 war on Iraq was unique in that it was promoted with the use of blatant lies. When I’d researched dozens of other wars and failed to find one that wasn’t based on a foundation of similar lies, I wrote a book about the most common war lie varieties. I called it War Is A Lie.
That book has sold more than any of my others, and I like to think it’s contributed some teeny bit to the remarkable and very welcome (…) -
UK delivered Syria chemicals needed for sarin production ‘for 6 years’
8 September 2013British companies sold sodium fluoride, a key ingredient in the manufacture of the deadly nerve gas sarin, to a Syrian firm from 2004-2010, British media reveal, a sale that has been called ‘disturbing’ following the chemical weapons attack in Damascus.
Between July 2004 and May 2010, the British government issued five export licenses to two companies, allowing them to sell Syria sodium fluoride, necessary for the production of sarin, according to a report in the Daily Mail, a British (…) -
Tell Congress: Don’t Bomb Syria
8 September 2013Dear Activist,
As Congress considers U.S. bombing of Syria, their constituents’ calls and emails are overwhelmingly opposed - as much as 100 to 1. And it’s having an effect, especially in the House: only 61 are likely Yes votes, while 246 are likely No’s.
That makes our emails and calls even more important. So please join our partners at CREDO Action to Tell Congress: Don’t Bomb Syria
Thanks for all you do!

Criminalize Political Lies to Save Planet Earth
8 September 2013If we lie to our government it’s a serious crime. Why isn’t it an even more serious crime when our government lies to us? If crime is willful action that harms others, and we punish crime based on the extent of its harm, why aren’t we criminalizing and severely punishing political lies, which often result in great harm including massive death and suffering throughout the world? Planet earth and all but a tiny fraction of her inhabitants are being systematically raped and plundered by a (…)

Brutality of Syrian Rebels Posing Dilemma in West (video)
7 September 2013The Syrian rebels posed casually, standing over their prisoners with firearms pointed down at the shirtless and terrified men.
The prisoners, seven in all, were captured Syrian soldiers. Five were trussed, their backs marked with red welts. They kept their faces pressed to the dirt as the rebels’ commander recited a bitter revolutionary verse.
“For fifty years, they are companions to corruption,” he said. “We swear to the Lord of the Throne, that this is our oath: We will take revenge.” (…) -
Song- "Bring’em home" - Pete Seeger (+video)
7 September 2013#NoToWar
If you love your Uncle Sam, Bring them home, bring them home. Support our boys in Vietnam, Bring them home, bring them home.
It’ll make our generals sad, I know, Bring them home, bring them home. They want to tangle with the foe, Bring them home, bring them home.
They want to test their weaponry, Bring them home, bring them home. But here is their big fallacy, Bring them home, bring them home.
I may be right, I may be wrong, Bring them home, bring them home. But I got a (…)
