An Analysis of the U.N. speech of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
26 September 2006An Analysis of the U.N. speech of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Part One
By Peter Fredson
September 26, 2006
It was difficult to find the text of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Address to the United Nations on September 19th, 2006.
Most of the sycophant media of the U.S. did not see fit to print it, but limited any mention to ridiculing or trivializing it. The New York Times printed all of the Bush rhetoric but somehow could not find room for that of Ahadinejad. I found it on the (…) -

As an Auxiliary Member of Veterans for 9/11 Truth www.V911T.org I came upon a post on the V911T Yahoo group with regard to veteran Sgt Lauro Chavez. Soon after, a copy of a letter reportedly written by Lauro Chavez was posted on the group’s website: http://www.v911t.org/SergeantLauroChavez.php .
Before continuing, it might be helpful to read the details contained in that (…) -
Why Does Alexander Cockburn Hate Me? And why is he saying all those nasty things about me?
26 September 2006Alexander Cockburn thinks anybody who has the slightest doubt whether we know the whole truth about the 9/11 attack is nuts. Absolutely wacko. Too stupid to be allowed on this earth. Undoubtedly for some this is accurate. But there are also some real strangers on Alex’s side as well.
On the 9/11 anniversary Alex used his CounterPunch column to go after the 9/11 Doubters with a vengeance. Yesterday he was at it again. The interesting thing is that he never tells us why he accepts 9/11 as (…) -

The United States of Barbarism

by James Bovard, September 25, 2006
The U.S. Senate is cutting a deal with President Bush to make America a banana republic. Last week, three senators reached an agreement with the White House that will de facto permit the CIA to continue torturing people around the world. And the deal will prevent anyone - including Bush administration officials - from being held liable for the torture.
This is latest sign that our elected representatives in Washington (…) -

"Over-grown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty." —George Washington (1732-1799), 1st US President
"[The] conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. . . . In the councils of (…) -

Even Motley Fool is predicting a U.S. market crash
I often find their advice all over the place. But, this time I think they are suggesting something a lot of us have been saying for awhile now... the U.S. market and dollar dive.

Anti-war protests in Manchester
25 September 2006Up to 20,000 demonstrators have marched through the northern English city of Manchester to protest the presence of British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The protests on Saturday took place on the eve of the governing Labour Party’s annual gathering.
Protesters packed Manchester’s central Albert Square on Saturday before setting off on a march around the conference centre where delegates will meet.
The five-day Labour meeting begins on Sunday.
A few hundred metres from a hotel where (…)
