Controverse. Sept ans après le 11 Septembre, une association de pilotes s’apprête à dévoiler leur enquête documentée sur l’attaque du Pentagone, démontant point par point la version officielle de la Maison Blanche. Un cadeau amer pour l’administration Bush sur le départ.
Ils en avaient assez des mensonges du pouvoir et des élucubrations des conspirationnistes. C’est pourquoi ces hommes et ces femmes, aviateurs professionnels, militaires ou civils, se sont réunis dans une organisation, "pilots for 911 truth", afin de faire progresser leur combat.
Quelle est leur cause ? La manifestation de la vérité sur le 11 Septembre, et tout particulièrement sur les aspects relatifs aux dommages subis par le Pentagone. Crash d’un Boeing, missile, bombe : toutes les spéculations ont circulé depuis 2001.
Voilà pourquoi, sans idée préconçue ou thèse alternative à défendre, ce collectif s’est attelé à son travail, dès sa coordination en août 2OO6 : connaitre et faire connaitre les éléments du puzzle afin d’exiger la réouverture de l’enquête parlementaire.
Au-delà de l’impact éventuel de leur enquête, technique et usant de l’animation, la démarche du groupe témoigne d’une volonté croissante de la part de citoyens responsables d’interpeller le pouvoir politique et les principaux médias pour dévoiler la nature exacte du 11 septembre.
Tant qu’ils sont vivants, il ne sera jamais trop tard pour juger les vrais coupables. Il en va de la valeur de l’idée même de démocratie, aux Etats-Unis comme en Europe.
