Les jeunes pour une alternative de gauche antilibérale !

Des révoltes aux victoires, de l’espoir au changement.

Depuis 2002, nous avons manifesté contre la présence de Le Pen au second tour de la présidentielle, contre la guerre en Irak et au Proche-Orient, contre les réformes libérales dans les universités et dans les lycées, contre la mondialisation libérale... Nous avons participé à la victoire du Non de gauche au referendum sur la constitution européenne. Dans la rue et dans les urnes, nous avons résisté au libéralisme et à ses conséquences. Si nous avons été de toutes ces batailles contre le libéralisme, c’est que nous sommes parmi ses premières victimes. La vie des jeunes, c’est la galère assurée, pour financer nos études, pour chercher un premier emploi stable, pour obtenir un logement décent, pour se soigner correctement, pour se déplacer librement, pour se cultiver... A cette précarité s’ajoutent les discriminations et la politique sécuritaire que subissent principalement les jeunes des quartiers populaires qui se sont révoltés à l’automne 2005.

Au printemps 2006, ensemble, dans l’unité et la démocratie, nous avons fait reculer le gouvernement sur le Contrat Première Embauche, attaque frontale de la droite voulant précariser tous les jeunes et démanteler le Code du travail. Nous avons mené notre lutte avec le soutien massif de la population et des salariés par la grève, l’occupation, les blocages et les manifestations. Par notre ténacité, malgré la répression et les condamnations dont certains d’entre nous ont été victimes, nous avons infligé une défaite majeure à la droite. Avec cette victoire, nous avons prouvé que la lutte paye. L’espoir né de ce mouvement ne doit pas être étouffé. Ensemble, nous avons gagné et aujourd’hui nous voulons construire une réponse politique qui soit à la hauteur de cette mobilisation victorieuse que toute notre génération vient de vivre.

En 2007, nous refusons d’entrer dans le jeu que nous imposent les médias et ceux qui nous gouvernent. Nous ne voulons ni du Kärcher, ni de la matraque d’une droite dure, ni de "l’ordre juste" d’une gauche qui a renoncé à changer la vie. Il faut en finir avec la criminalisation de la jeunesse. Dès maintenant, nous exigeons l’amnistie pour tous les jeunes qui se sont mobilisés ces dernières années. Pour changer radicalement la condition de la jeunesse, il faut sortir du choix entre une droite ultra-libérale et une gauche social-libérale. Nous voulons autre chose. Nous nous inscrivons pleinement dans la dynamique lancée par le collectif national d’initiative pour des candidatures unitaires de la gauche anti-libérale lors des élections présidentielle et législatives de 2007 et souhaitons que l’ensemble de la jeunesse puisse y participer. Nous pensons que ces candidatures unitaires sont nécessaires et urgentes pour battre la droite et l’extrême droite, pour répondre à nos espoirs et porter les revendications de toute la jeunesse telles que l’allocation d’autonomie pour tous les jeunes en formation et en insertion professionnelle. Dans nos facs, nos lycées, nos lieux de travail et nos quartiers, ensemble, faisons entendre la voix des jeunes dans les collectifs antilibéraux, mettons en place des collectifs jeunes unitaires et populaires et élaborons un programme d’urgence pour la jeunesse.

Nous sommes de toutes les révoltes, nous sommes de toutes les victoires, nous serons nous aussi de l’alternative.
