La Commission Européenne vient d’autoriser la culture d’organismes génétiquement modifiés (OGM) pour la première fois depuis 12 ans, plaçant les profits du lobby OGM avant les préoccupations sanitaires des citoyens. Pourtant 60% des Européens estiment que nous avons besoin de plus d’informations avant de cultiver des plantes qui pourraient menacer notre santé et l’environnement.

Pomme de terre Amflora, maïs : refusons les « OGM automatiques » !
Aujourd’hui, le Haut Conseil sur les Biotechnologies (HCB) vient de rendre son avis sur la pomme de terre génétiquement modifiée Amflora de BASF, suite à une saisine du ministère de l’Agriculture datant du mois de mars, quelques jours après l’autorisation du produit par la Commission européenne.

La Commission européenne a approuvé mercredi l’importation en Europe de cinq variétés de maïs génétiquement modifié et renouvelé l’autorisation d’un autre maïs dont l’autorisation émise il y a dix ans venait à échéance.
Ces autorisations permettent l’entrée sur le territoire européen de ces organismes génétiquement modifiés (OGM) ainsi que leur transformation à des fins alimentaires pour l’homme ou les animaux, mais pas leur mise en culture.

Ce lundi 12 Juillet 2010 à 6h du matin, plus d’un hectare de maïs OGM Syngenta Bt11 a été fauché en Catalogne près du lieu dit Golla Del Ter (entre Figuerès et Girona) par un collectif franco-espagnol. pour que toutes les luttes convergent. et c’est un honneur pour nous tous.
Déjà quelques semaines auparavant un collectif outre-Rhin avait arraché des pommes de terre transgéniques en Allemagne, ils ont dit (…) -

Cadeau empoisonné ou geste altruiste pour soulager la misère haïtienne ? La controverse entourant le don d’un lot de semences hybrides par le groupe d’agrochimie Monsanto a rejailli sur le gouvernement de René Préval, alors que les programmes de reconstruction peinent à se concrétiser près de six mois après le séisme qui a fait plus de 250 000 morts et 1,3 million de sinistrés.

La Commission Européenne vient d’autoriser l’entrée et la culture d’OGM en Europe, contre le souhait des citoyens, et contre l’avis de plusieurs Etats Membres.!!!!!
La gouvernance européenne nous permet de déposer une demande officielle auprès de la Commission, pour peu qu’elle soit soutenue par un minimum de *1 million* de citoyens européens. Aujourd’hui, et après 1 mois d’action, Greenpeace et Avaaz ont réussi à rassembler près de 860.000 signatures.

2 commentairesLes médias ne parlant plus d’Haïti on se dit que tout s’est bien fini, que la solidarité internationale a permis de faire sortir le petit pays de la crise qu’il a subit en janvier dernier.
Et bien non, en fait tout commence, même si le pays tente de se réorganiser et que la vie reprend doucement son cours Haïti n’en a absolument pas fini avec les crises. Tout au contraire, comme annoncé précédemment les vautours multinationales se sont jetés dessus avec l’avidité des investisseurs (…) -

Le statut de « population assistée » n’est pas unanimement accepté ! Ainsi, le 10 mai 2010, d’importantes mobilisations se sont produites contre le président haïtien René Préval.

les ogm... les faucheurs volontaires à SETE : occupation !

Le vendredi 2 avril à 8 heures, les Faucheurs Volontaires ont investi, au cours d’une action surprise le site de la société SEA Invest, qui entrepose entre autre, les importations de soja OGM qui transitent par Sète. Ils ont bloqué toute activité sur le site, et notamment le chargement des camions.
