9/11 Truth Extends A Cordial Invitation -To Itself

The buzz throughout the Internet is that a sizable number of those who do not buy the “official 9/11 story” that’s been shoveled to America for the past five years are coming en masse to Washington, DC in September. Apparently, many who have done careful research regarding the disturbing events that took the lives of nearly 2,800 have a great deal of information to share.

As anti-war activists from “peace and social justice” groups no doubt already know, September 5 through 21 are the dates anti-war activists, humanitarians, and other progressives will travel to the nation’s capital to participate in what’s being termed “Camp Democracy”. Similarly, activists calling for the truth about 9/11 are urging all others who doubt the “official story” to come to Washington, DC during the same days that Camp Democracy will be converging upon the National Mall.

Cait Burgess is one such individual who will be traveling from Fort Worth to the nation’s capital the week of September 11. A member of Veterans for 9/11 Truth, Cait is well-studied on 9/11 and the manufactured “War On Terror” used to justify wars upon both Afghanistan and Iraq. When asked why she plans to travel all the way from Texas to the District for the five year anniversary, Ms. Burgess explains, “The world changed on 9/11. President Bush spoke the truth when he said that the terrorists that attacked us did so because they hate our freedoms. The only part he was mistaken about was the identity of these terrorists!

Through unconstitutional legislation, such as the USA Patriot Acts, the rights we think we have as citizens of this great country have been slashed, all in the name of ‘protecting us from terror.’

A wise man once said that those who give up their freedom in exchange for security deserve neither freedom nor security. I for one, am tired of having my rights removed without my consent. I will go to D.C., stand with my fellow citizens and the Veterans for 9/11 Truth to expose the fraud behind the 9/11 attacks that have led to the destruction of our country.”

Apparently, Ms. Burgess will be in very good - and patriotically strong - company. In a communication dated August 15, a co-founder of the Veterans group stated:

“On September 8th, starting at 7 PM EST, at St. Marks Church in NYC, the
East Village, where Alfons of v911t will be speaking along with Ralph
Schoenman. Alfons will then speak at the NY 911 Truth press conference
Sunday September 10th, noon at the Cooper Union Hall in NYC.

From there some of v911t members will be going to Washington D.C. for
the 9/11 Citizens Court, and to do outreach at Camp Democracy, handing
out flyers, DVDs, and making v911t known, and working with others in
the 9/11 Truth Community doing the same. Some of our v911t members will
be at Ground Zero making Veterans for 9/11 Truth statement. Much more
to come.”

Judging by discussions among Veterans for 9/11 Truth (www.V911T.org ) and other groups, activists from all over the nation are coming to Washington, DC in order to have some engaging, eye-opening conversations with hundreds of thousands of expected visitors on the topic of the false justification used for the US military’s October, 2001 invasion and the continued occupation of Afghanistan.

Due to the virtual blackout of 9/11-related information on many websites that claim to be about stopping war, the anti-war community receives very little information concerning the vast number of disturbing events and lies concerning the attacks of 9/11 and the government’s unsettling behavior both on that day and in the five years thereafter. Many scholars, former government employees, and religious leaders who have studied the anomalies of the government story and the 9/11 Commission Report believe that 9/11 was made to happen by some inside the US government in order to both manufacture a new enemy and provide a pretense for invasions and occupations of both Afghanistan and Iraq.

It is precisely by telling Americans the truth about September 11 as the “new Pearl Harbor” called for in the Neo-conservatives’ Project for a New American Century in their report, “Rebuilding America’s Defenses,” that activists demanding the truth about 9/11 believe these illegal wars will one day be stopped.

Blogger David Chen, in his August 14 article, “An Appeal to the Anti War Movement” persuasively states:

“It is time for people to recognize 9/11 truth’s vital role in preserving liberty and stopping future wars of aggression. It is high time for people in the mainstream anti-war movement to investigate 9/11 and expose the official story for the fraud that it is.”

But it is not bloggers alone who are calling upon Americans to listen to those who raise serious questions about September 11. On an August 9 program, CNN anchor Lou Dobbs expressed his own upset about the federal government involving 9/11:

“DOBBS: Incompetence and ineptitude on the part of this government on September 11th and in the weeks and months leading up to it are established. The fact that the government would permit deception after a deception, whether honestly, if you can call it that, honestly intended or not. But the fact that they were continue and perpetuate the lie, suggests that we need a full investigation of what is going on and what is demonstrably an incompetent and at worst deceitful federal government.” (courtesy www.911blogger.com ).

In addition, just this week, acclaimed writer Paul Craig Roberts stunned many by asking in his piece titled “Gullible Americans”:

“How do you know that 9/11 was a Muslim terrorist plot? How do you know that three World Trade Center buildings collapsed because two were hit by airliners? You only “know” because the government gave you the explanation of what you saw on TV. (Did you even know that three WTC buildings collapsed?).” As Roberts finishes he tells Americans not to believe that “they hate us for our freedom and democracy. Gentle reader, wise up. The entire world is laughing at you.”

In an effort to gather Americans together in order to better educate them about the seriousness of these crimes, Rick Siegel, Producer of the “9/11 Eyewitness” video, has posted on his website www.911CitizenCourt.com the following message: “Join us there and do not worry. Do not let those who are negative put your minds into frustration. We have the power. Get up and let us do it.”

So what exactly will the 9/11 truth-tellers be doing at Camp Democracy from September 5 to 21 in Washington, DC? Since at least two groups that focus on 9/11 have not been permitted to rent space at Camp Democracy, word has it that 9/11- activists will be walking around the Mall in true grassroots fashion, talking to interested visitors, one at a time, about the lies that America was told about 9/11 and the so-called “War On Terror”.

The Veterans for 9/11 Truth convey this sentiment in their mission statement:

“In pursuit of our mission we have initially chosen to present evidence exposing the deception and lies that many in the military/intelligence/industrial/media establishment have been telling Americans and the world since September 11, 2001 concerning the events of that tragic day. Our mission includes seeking, discovering, and presenting evidence revealing the truth about the events of 9/11.”

This is why each and every individual who realizes that there is a great deal wrong with the 9/11 story is being asked to come to the nation’s capital between September 5 through 21 and share these details with the “peace and social justice” community at Camp Democracy. Since the media, the federal government, and the “peace and social justice” movement are not coming clean with the American public? Thousands of concerned activists such as members of Veterans for 9/11 Truth are signing up for grassroots truth education duty. Those who are not able to come to DC but can make a donation in order to help cover costs for the Veterans to bring the message to Camp Democracy may make a donation at www.V911T.org .

When the federal government, the mainstream media, and the peace and justice groups will not tell American citizens the truth? It becomes incumbent upon ordinary, average individuals to actually become the media and take up that task ourselves.
