5 commentsA Spinwatch investigation has revealed that journalists working for the Services Sound and Vision Corporation (SSVC) have been commissioned to provide news reports to the BBC. The BBC has been using these reports as if they were genuine news. In fact, the SSVC is entirely funded by the Ministry of Defence as a propaganda operation, which according to its own website makes a ’considerable contribution’ to the ’morale’ of the armed forces.

Of course, ‘making it into the news’ is a bit of a misnomer as it took the BBC nearly two weeks for the story to actually ‘break’ into its mainstream news coverage, no doubt because it was us non-entities, (…)

Israeli envoy to U.K. questioned in money-laundering probe

Israeli Ambassador to Britain Zvi Hefetz was questioned Friday by the police international investigations unit over suspicions he was involved in money laundering of the Bank Hapoalim accounts of businessman Vladimir Gusinsky.
Hefetz recently acted as Gusinsky’s agent in Israel.
