In April 2009, the Campus Activities Council (CAC) of the University of Oklahoma had a Facebook site announcing that on May 2 CIA agent Michael Scheuer was scheduled to give a speech on campus. Scheuer was described as "the long-time chief of the Bin Laden tracking center."

This is interesting because OU president David Boren, a former U.S. Senator, has many ties to the CIA and is widely known as the mentor and sponsor of George Tenet, who was CIA director when the 9/11 attack happened.

In October 2001, the front page of the French newspaper LeFigaro bore this headline (translated to English): July 2001 — Bin Laden Meets the CIA in Dubai.

The article reported that Bin Laden was a kidney patient in the American hospital in Dubai, UAE, and that the CIA saw him there.

The CIA’s memo to Bush, dated August 6, 2001, confirmed that the agency expected Bin Laden to attack America. This report was declassified in 2004 and is now at the George Washington University National Security Archive:

Immediately after learning about the scheduled speech by Scheuer, at the Facebook page announcing it I placed a link to the scan of the LeFigaro article. On that very day, the CAC removed my link and associated comments encouraging students to ask Scheuer why the CIA did not capture Bin Laden in July, when they had the chance.

Next, I emailed Facebook users who had signed up to attend the speech and told them about the LeFigaro article. I wanted someone to ask him about this and hoped that a video of Scheuer being evasive or lying could be obtained for youtube.

On April 27 I received a message from one of the event organizers telling me that the speech by Scheuer had been cancelled "due to adverse circumstances."

It appears that OU administrators don’t want people asking any questions which might lead to raising suspicions about David Boren and his likely role in enabling the 9/11 hijacking plot to move forward.

I have made XPS filies of the Facebook pages in order to confirm these events, but BellaCiao will not accept XPS files in posts. Journalists and investigators may email me and request them and I’ll send them.

Here is the currrent Facebook link to documents from my independent 9/11 investigation. This link is temporary. Periodically Facebook generates new public links, so readers may email me for the current link if this one has expired by the time you see this:

Here is a youtube video of George Tenet telling a lie in response to a question from me. This was during a 2005 speech at the University of Oklahoma:
