Please boycott all US goods and services

Dear World Neighbor,

I am a US citizen asking you, Please boycott all US goods and services until the Bush/Cheney administration withdraws from Iraq and renounces its policy of military aggression against sovereign nations of its choosing. With financial bankruptcy, the US Congress and the other half of the US electorate will be more willing to, at minimum, question and possibly decrease the power of the re-elected Bush/Cheney administration.

Yes, I need you to stop buying US goods and services against my own economic self-interest and that of my country. However, the Bush administration and/or Osama bin Laden will bankrupt the US anyway. We need to take control with a higher purpose in mind — peace — instead of war.

In Osama bin Laden’s October 29th video, he said, “We are continuing this policy in bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy. Allah willing, and nothing is too great for Allah.” He said the mujahedeen fighters did the same thing to the Soviet Union in Afghanistan in the 1980s, "using guerrilla warfare and the war of attrition to fight tyrannical superpowers." More detail can be found at

http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast...

On November 4th, Bush held a rare press conference where he stated, “"I earned capital in the campaign, political capital, and now I intend to spend it. It’s my style."

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS...

I am ashamed of my country because of the Bush/Cheney administration. I fear for the future of the US and that of the world as the Bush/Cheney administration invests our future in weapons and war. We will get more of the same from this US president - more war, less peace. Please help us by refusing to buy to US goods and services.

Thank you, Donna Bravo

Donna, don’t worry. I ain’t gonna buy anything from the U.S.A. as much as I can help it. I try to buy Canadian.
But that doesn’t mean that I think Kerry is any better than Lord Bush. I think the problems go wayyyy beyond this childish Republicans VS Democrats debate. Kerry & Bush are both Skull & Bonesmen remember? Maybe electing Kerry would have at least sent a resounding "F-you" to the Bush people and would have restored my faith in the basic human decency of my U.S. friends.
But no..................

Start with GE, they are the 600lb gorilla that will sell you a blender made in china, and then build a tank that your loved ones were just blown up in, in Iraq. Oh, and they love donating to corrupt political corporate lapdogs too.

GE, "we bring good things to DEATH". Now that’s the American way.

Boycott GE.

DONNA: I think what you need to do is provide us with a list of companies that supported Bush/Cheney or major companies that are Republicans..I have started with WALMART, which should be called WHOREMART....I live 5 minutes down the street (in Florida) from them, and would not buy crap from them..my daughter asked why and all I had to say was they are friends of Bush..and she said Shame on them..let’s not buy anything there..Home Depot is another one to boycott..Post a list if you ever put one together or email me at groovyindia@hotmail.com..

It sounds like you are the whore, can I get some from you. You are pretty fucking pathetic to lie to your daughter that way. If it wasn’t for walmart and hundreds of other companies like them their would be thousands upon thousands of people without jobs. So why don’t you pull the dick out of your ass and teach your daughter the truth.

If it wasnt for companies like walmart, millions of small family businesses would not go broke.Wake up to yourself. You are obviously not very smart to have to resort to filthy insults.

So your telling me that a small buisness who employs maybe 2 to 10 people verses a single walmart who employs hundreds of tax paying citizens is better for the economy. Yeah right! You are the one who is not very bright. You honestly need to put aside your stupidity and learn more about the economy and how things are structured today not how it was in the 70’s and 80’s. By the way o’wise one, small buisnesses are going out for many reasons but the main one is the liberal taxation. As far as filthy insults, they have nothing to do with intelect they are attention grabbers. By the way, I’d still like to get some.

Thursday November 11 - 14:16 - Posted by e29b5460de9e51ad...

I know exactly how the economy is structured...the rich get richer and the poor get the picture. What percentage of a multinational CEOs wage do you make.Maybe 2%,then you ve got the nerve to defend them.In Australia,Coles and Woolworths are systematically destroying small service station owners by offering fuel deals at there service station.I urge people to boycott caltex and shell who are notorious for price fixing. They constantly put pressure on small operators so they wont drop their prices.

Why do you think small businesses are enduring lack of support and unfair taxation. The corporations wouldn’t have it any other way.I recently tried to start a small business but there was no support from my government or banks. You cant get a business loan unless you already have a business or a shitload of assets. Then there are all the gloom and doom stories about most small businesses failing within 12 months. No wonder no one wants to try.

I wonder if you will be so happy with corporations when they have totally eradicated freedom as we no it and own everything.Nestle is a prime example, although not a US company, they are heavily promoted here and everytime you go to a supermarket they have taken over another company. They destroyed allens lollies here, then bought them out. Some of the companies that no longer exist coz of Nestle are Nanda,McIntosh Confectionary (acompany around when my 65 yo mother was a child),Friskies pet food and a chain of others.Pepsico all but destroyed Arnotts biscuits, one of Australias largest companies and now coca-cola has seized control of Kirks soft drinks.

They usually sack all previous staff and downsize whilst conducting these takeovers. Then there is the issue of emplyee satisfaction;none of the kids that work for apittance for these rich mongrels are happy therefore customer service is at an all time low. Then you wankers blame the kids bad attitudes. We gave them this fucked up world, they didnt ask for it.Grow up you judgemental piece of shit.

Yeah, and all those hundreds of tax paying citizens sure love their job their job there making minimum wage, if that. Then of course, there’s the hiring of illegal immigrants and paying them substandard wages. Oh, women too. Can you see that little yellow smiley face? BTW, do you have a mullet and/or drive a Trans Am?

If I am a whore, then you are the uneducated pimp...Walmart has had dirty practices for years, including treating the illegals they hire like crap..They don’t sell certain books, but they will surely sell your redneck kind a gun in a second..Unfortunately, most of the rednecks cannot read and end up shooting themselves first in the foot, followed by a family member. If there wasn’t a Walmart around, the world will survive..Just imagine if there wasn’t air assholes like you wouldn’t be around, but it is and we just have to tolerate you...

What is so funny is that the stupid people in this country go into wal-mart and buy all of the crap most of which is made in communist China.....ha ha ha ha ha, these same morons keep saying communisum is horrible, then run down to wal-mart and buy some more commie products, communist China is now enjoying a 15% growth rate per year from Americans supporting their imports...nothing like sabotaging ourselves...but keep buying those commie products after all China has the most favored nation status and so of course the bottom line is that we are now the communist’s bitch...ha ha ha ha ha....

yes and meanwhile out trade deficet is at a record high and Americans have these "not a living wage wal-mart jobs" and the dollar is dropping like a rock against all of the other major world currencies...while we are being sold a load of shit about what a great thing wal-mart is because it gives so many Americans a slave wage job. It is like cutting our own throats and we don’t even know it. America no longer produces anything to "not buy" we manufacture little except WMD and who wants to buy a nuke???

Donna,
Good idea about boycotting U.S. products. I’ve been boycotting some, like Walmart and Nike, for years. Some U.S. companies are worse than others, and the major corporations are all pretty horrible, U.S. or otherwise. If you haven’t seen the film, "The Corporation" yet, I highly recommend it. I try to buy as much as possible from small, local merchants and farmers, and I try to do without as much as possible and only buy necessities. Live simply so that others might simply live.

Thursday November 11 - 11:11 - Posted by 1122a42601ceb4e3...

Hey Donna, no worries, the citizens here do not buy U.S. goods there are none to buy, so you don’t have to ask us to not buy them we couldn’t if we wanted to. Look at the stuff in wal-mart all of it is produced somewhere else. Evern Europeans do not buy U.S. goods, the few we produce are considered shoddy and inferior by Europeans who still take pride in their workmanship and still produce things that last and are well made, something that went out of style in this country when we started to plan obsolesence into cars and other American made products which was when Americans stopped buying them some 30 or 40 years ago....

Instead of boycotting US goods, would it not be better to boycott US companies, any US company that sells product, which they sell through middle men like China, India, Asia, Israel, learn about corperations, who owns what and how it is sold through whom, then start boycotting, and yes start more local community product and support it.....this may start a new business in itself, ...buy gold, pull your money out of american stocks, support countires and their companies that are not related in anyway to any American companies, ............spread the word, ........hit them where it hurts in the pocket books.....it can be done............it will be done

The way out is to tell your family members and friends that until American citizens stop supporting the crime in their government nothing will change. Tell them to please stop buying things from Wal-mart, it would be a good place to start if many many of us (not all people will be able to be educated..look at the election results) stop going in there and buying their crap their policies might change. Many European countries will not even allow Wal-mart to do business there, they know that this corporation is like a monster that devours everything in its path. Some of you clever people out there could help this effort by coining some phrases or inventing slogans that can start a movement...???

Where’s the embarrassment? If it was dumb to boycott French wine and call French fries “freedom fries” isn’t equally stupid hurting people who had nothing to do with electing a man with more hat than brains.

Isn’t there something truly American about a family idiot, who grew-up in fields of the tall cotton of family influence and parental welfare, becoming the most powerful person in America?

There are two American dreams: one dream where you succeed because of work and effort and the American dream of just being the person in the right place at the right time. Anywhere but in America, George would have been a family burden. In America, having the right influence in the conservative imagine machine created something out of nothing. George was a marketing success story. Talking about taking a tough tasteless piece of steak that couldn’t have been given away and selling its sizzle until it sold in a state the claims to know steaks.

Why waste time being embarrassed? Enjoy the comedy and drama watching Americans remember why they keep conservatives out of power. Bush, right now, it doing do conservatives what few others could do: make conservatism seen for what it is, an ideology of greed blinding ignorance.

If there is one universal question that haunts all human beings at some point in their lives, it is, “Why do we die?” Death, after all, is the great illogic.
