Enough already. I can hardly stand to read the relentless insipid back and forth about Barak Obama’s recent speech on race. Somebody writes a clever bit of cliched rhetoric for him and the Right can’t quit hosing it while at the same time the Left can’t quit drooling over it. What a slippery mess. I keep waiting for some one, somewhere, PLEASE, to point out the giant pimple on Barak Obama’s rhetorical nose. But no one seems to get it. No one seems to want to (…)

Will the GOP election theft machine do it again in 2008?
18 March 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
With record low approval ratings for the Bush/Cheney regime and the albatross of an unpopular war hanging from the GOP’s neck, do you think that a Democratic presidential candidate will win the White House, get us out of Iraq, and end our long national nightmare?
Think again – the mighty election theft machine Karl Rove used to steal the US presidency in 2000 and 2004 may be under attack, but it is still in place for the upcoming 2008 election.
With his usual devious mastery, Rove has (…) -
Ohio’s Voting Machines Are Now An Official Crime Scene
18 March 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
by Bob Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman
March 17, 2008
At least 15 touch-screen voting machines that produced improbable numbers in Ohio’s 2006 statewide election are now under double-lock in an official crime scene. And the phony "Homeland Security Alert" used by Republicans to build up George W. Bush’s 2004 vote count in a key southwestern Ohio county has come under new scrutiny.
The touch-screen machines were locked up after Ohio’s new Democratic Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner, (…) -
OBAMA THREAT
18 March 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsWe will all be able to gauge just how much of a threat Sen. Barack Obama is to the status quo in Corporate America — by the size of the attacks coming forth now and, in the months ahead — i.e. various attacks from the so called "liberal" US news media and the campaigns of others (which are largely financed by lobbyist and their corporate masters).
It will get much worse as Sen. Obama moves closer to the democratic nomination for President of the United States of America.
Unlike George W. (…) -

How could they have known? It wasn’t on Oprah or Fox News.
Hillary Clinton and many other members of Congress claim that their support of the invasion of Iraq was based on faulty intelligence reports. How could they dispute the research and analysis of all those experts, so well trained and experienced in their fields?
Well, apart from the fact that American intelligence agencies and their reports (…) -
Obama : The difference between a Dictator and a Leader
10 March 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsOne definition of a dictator is “a person exercising absolute power”, while a leader is defined as “one who is in charge or in command of others.” This does not mean that the two words are unrelated. A leader can be a dictator and a dictator can be leader. The difference is in the implied method of rule.
To describe someone as a dictator is to imply that they are ruthless and biased; to describe someone as a leader implies that they understand the needs of those that they rule. A dictator (…) -

Mr. Werrell and friends,
It is not the measure of how Sen. Barack Obama responds to the negative attacks of the Clinton Machine but, rather how we as voters respond to them when casting our vote at the polls.
Keeping that in mind, so far it would appear that some are willing to reward negative behavior.
No wonder people like George W. Bush have never been held accountable for anything in their entire life.
Then again, 1 (…) -
RALPH NADER :

We want to express our strong support for Ralph Nader’s presidential candidacy.
There are several reasons.
The first is a response to the many who say that, because Obama cannot be seen to sympathize with the Palestinians or criticize Israel during the campaign, we should all lie low for now, not even press him on the issue, get him nominated and elected, and then work on him to change after he becomes (…) -
The Man Nobody Wanted
5 March 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
By David Glenn Cox
There is something strange going on in the political landscape of America. Something both parties see as a threat to national security, well to their national security at least. The candidates of both major political parties strike terror into the hearts of both political parties’ leadership for the same reason, and for opposite reasons. Last year it was a foregone conclusion that the Democratic nominee would be Hillary Clinton, no one doubted it for one minute, she (…)
