She’s at it again on the Journal’s editorial page in her June 4 article called "The Young and the Restless," subtitled "Is this the beginning of the end for Hugo Chavez?" The writer is self-styled Latin American expert Mary Anastasia O’Grady always getting top grades in vilification and disinformation but failing ones on regional knowledge and legitimate journalism.
This time she may have overstepped. Her article wreaks with disinformation, outright lies, and most (…)

On December 28, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Frias delivered his annual "greeting speech" to the National Armed Forces (FAN) and announced the operating license of TV station Radio Caracas Television (known as RCTV) broadcasting on VHF Channel 2 won’t be renewed when it expires on May 27, 2007. The station played a leading role, along with the other four major commercial private television channels in the country controlling 90% (…) -
Vilest People in US Corporate-Controlled Media
27 November 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThe launch of the English-language version of Al-Jazeera Television in the United States was met with glee by America’s corporate-controlled media. At first this reaction seemed curious, particularly since another English-language news channel would also mean another option for viewers in the highly competitive “information” industry.
But soon the source of this glee became evident: No cable or satellite television service in the United States is carrying Al-Jazeera. Although America’s (…) -

BBC criticised on Pope documentary
2 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThe Catholic Church has hit back over claims that Pope Benedict XVI played a leading role in a systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by its priests.
One Archbishop labelled the BBC’s Panorama documentary as unwarranted, misleading and a "deeply prejudiced attack" against the Pope.
The Most Reverend Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Birmingham, said the Panorama programme misrepresented confidential Vatican papers to back up its claims.
Speaking on behalf of the Bishops of England and (…) -
Doco claims Pope in child abuse cover-up
2 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentA BRITISH documentary claimed today that Pope Benedict XVI was implicated in the systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by Catholic priests.
Over 20 years, the man formerly known as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger enforced a secret 1962 document on how bishops should deal with allegations of child abuse which included a code of secrecy, enforceable by excommunication, the BBC Panorama investigation said.
Father Tom Doyle, a canon solicitor reportedly sacked by the Vatican after criticising its (…) -
BUSH ’ASSASSINATED’ IN NEW TV DOCUDRAMA
1 September 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
PRESIDENT 31.08.06
Held up by a secret service bodyguard in his dying moments after being shot in the stomach, this is President Bush being assassinated. Surrounded by a crowd of panicking onlookers, the American leader is pictured just seconds after being gunned down by a sniper following an anti-war demonstration. But rather than a repeat of JFK’s shooting or Ronald Reagan’s attempted assassination, this shocking image is part of a new Channel Four show. The dramatic scene, which has (…) -
America’s Corporate-Controlled Media: Garbage Disguised As News
22 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
6 commentsDuring the course of writing this article, I reached for my handy thesaurus to find appropriate synonyms to describe the profession of “cable television news journalist.”
There were three: 1). Pseudo-journalist, a.k.a. professional liar; 2). Bottom feeding scum sucker who regurgitates garbage; 3). A coward often known to hawk unjust and illegal wars from the safety of television studios while avoiding military service.
Okay, I confess. There were no such descriptions in my thesaurus. (…)
