¿Y recuerdan al movimiento hippie de los años 60, con el Flower Power, el ácido lisérgico y las canciones de Joan Báez? ¿Y a los pacifistas que, en plena guerra de Vietnam, recomendaban “haga el amor y no la guerra”?
Bueno, en el mundo al revés la ecuación se ha invertido, y con agravantes. Para los jefes supremos del ejército de Estados Unidos tener sexo es malo, hacer la guerra es bueno y torturar es mucho mejor.
El general de cuatro estrellas Kevin Byrnes, jefe del Comando Entrenamiento y Doctrina del Ejército, con sede en Fort Monroe (Virginia), fue relevado de su cargo el 9 de agosto por “conducta personal inapropiada”. No se trata de un episodio de acoso sexual a personal femenino. El militar tampoco toqueteaba a fornidos reclutas, ni era pedófilo.
