Vous devez me croire si je vous dis que je ne comprends pas comment les Etats-Unis commettent tant d’erreurs d’appréciation sur la situation latino-américaine, que je ne sais pas qui sont les analystes et les assesseurs du président Bush qui le conduisent à se tromper à ce point, que j’ignore le degré de responsabilité de Condoleezza Rice, et que je ne m’explique pas non plus comment ils font pour ne pas voir qu’ils subissent défaite sur (…)

Cela fait seulement quelques semaines qu’IBM a dévoilé au monde et à ses succursales son plan de licenciement qui remerciera environ 13 000 de ses employés à travers le monde dans les mois à venir.
Les chiffres de l’année fiscale précédente avaient de quoi annoncer ce qui va suivre : sur l’ensemble de l’année, on constate un bénéfice de 2,9% sur le monde entier.
Plus localement, les ventes chutent légèrement en Europe alors que les bénéfices en Asie ne cessent de croître (…) -

Juillet 2003, le journaliste anglais Robert Fisk rapportait l’histoire de Qais al-Salman, ingénieur danois d’origine irakienne, revenu en Irak avec des projets pour aider à la restauration des infrastructures de son pays, notamment du système de purification des eaux.
