We are a group of artists who, since several years, undertake in different forms (cinema,
theatre,
dance, sculpture, painting etc.), to dounce decay and suffering social situations.
During these years we carried on projects with public administrations, private subjects, class
organizations, groups for environmental protection, disadvantaged persons, etc., with help from
several people belonging to cultural world such as Dario Fo, Marco Paolini, don Luigi Ciotti,
Mino
Martinazzoli.
We have begun for two years to throw ourselves heart and soul into the story of many workers
who are sentenced to death from the unhealthy work conditions: they were taken ill by cancer,
leukaemia and so on because of their continuous contact with amiantus.
More than seventy of them died with cruel pains and many others are near their end, due to a
wicked aim to hide causes and exploitation.
The story of the workers of “aste” and “forgia” departments of Sesto S. Giovanni Breda is very
similar to that of Portomarghera or that of Bophal in India.
Our work – since we begin to co-operate with these women and men – grew up in forms and
contents. We thank them and the secular struggle against man-to-man exploitation that they
represent.
We ask you, if you think it’s right, a little support to this awakening campaign for making
light on
facts and for starting a wider campaign to acquaint schools, Communes, factories with the
terrible
results of a behaviour that doesn’t respect human beings.
