The Real Present World Situation by Ogmios
Let us face something about world news in the English language from the mass media of America, Britain and Europe. It is virtually all rotten, twisted propaganda, misinformation and collective psy-ops to keep the stupid masses hypnotized and agreeable to their own destruction and deterioration. So we turn to alternative news on the Internet where we find extreme fragmentation of views on world problems and government oppressions. The alternative (…) -
Lies and Cover-Ups are not ’Being in Denial’
3 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsThe right wing of the Republican Party has a problem with the truth. The American press corps has an addiction to euphemisms.

Yet the sort of anecdote Woodward tells, and the new information surfacing on Tenet’s briefing of Rice and Hastert’s (…) -

3 October 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentAP) Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said she cannot recall then-CIA chief George Tenet warning her of an impending al Qaeda attack in the United States, as a new book claims he did two months before the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
"What I am quite certain of is that I would remember if I was told, as this account apparently says, that there was about to be an attack in the United States, and the idea that I would somehow have ignored that I find incomprehensible," Rice said.
Rice was (…) -

In just weeks, sometime around November, The Untied States will be holdin’ erections which are vital to everyone. We must remember the lessons of 9/11. (heh heh).
The world is wathin’ us as we make up our minds about the war on terror. We must stay the course, hang in there, and fight the good and noble and brave and courageous and endless war against those evil ones who attacked us from Iraq on 9/11. I never said there was any (…) -
A Closer Reading of the National Intelligence Estimate: Iraq a Bigger Factor in the Rise of Terror than Reported

By Matthew Rothschild
So it turns out that the National Intelligence Estimate on terrorism does confirm what we’ve been saying all along: that the Iraq War is fueling terrorism.
A lot of the news reports said that the estimate listed “the Iraq jihad” as one of the “four underlying factors [that] are fueling the spread of the jihadist movement,” which is “increasing in both number and geographic dispersion.”
But if you read the (…) -

The Military Commissions Act of 2006 governing the treatment of detainees is the culmination of relentless fear-mongering by the Bush administration since the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Because the bill was adopted with lightning speed, barely anyone noticed that it empowers Bush to declare not just aliens, but also U.S. citizens, "unlawful enemy combatants."
Bush & Co. has portrayed the bill as a tough way to deal with aliens to protect us against terrorism. (…)
