BUSH’S IMPEACHABLE OFFENCES

Sunday 5 June 2005

- Contact the author

Compiled by "Son of a Bush"
1) The now famous Downing Street Memo, along with the testimony of former Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neil constitute direct evidence of a decision by Bush to invade a sovereign foreign nation on entirely specious grounds.

2) The decision to deploy chemical weapons in Fallujah came from Rumsfeld who no doubt covered his ass by receiving assent from Bush to use these banned weapons

3) The decision by Bush to dig up dirt on UN diplomats when the General Assembly was considering his ill-fated war resolution

4) Authorizing torture of POW’s - a direct violation of the protocols of the Geneva Convention

5) Holding so called "non-combatant civilians" for an indefinite period of time ,depriving them of their day in court ,acess to counsel, and acess to family members who could plead their cause to the public.

6) Kidnapping so called "terror suspects" , placing them on Rendition Airways, and sending them to countries like Uzbekistan who boil these ,untried, unconvicted people alive.

7) foreknowledge of 9/11 by Bush, Rice, and the top Neocons at the Pentagon . The only ones warned were Fmr. SF. Mayor Willie Brown, Salman Rushdie (Via Scotland Yard) and Ariel Sharon, who cancelled his trip to NYC scheduled for the weekend prior to 9/11.

8) Engaging in a massive voter suppression campaign in the state of Ohio to secure a second term by fraudulent means. Such activities carry criminal sanctions as outlined in the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

9) Covering up the involvement of Mossad in 9/11. The fellow that secreted these spies and explosives experts out of country and back into Israel , Michael Chertoff, was promoted from Criminal Division of the Justice Dept to lead the Dept. of Homeland Security.!

10) The attempt to quash the testimony of Sibel Edmonds using the bogus shield of the States Secret Act.

11) Engaging in a sytematic campaign of depriving political dissidents of their 1st ammendment rights to condem Bush administration policy. Protesters are removed out of crowds and summarily placed in jail. The Secret Service, under orders of the President, conduct "Harassment and intimidation Interviews" of anti -Bush political activists.

12) Conspiring with Ken Lay to rip-off the the people of California by creating false energy shortages, thus creating the causus belli for charging energy consumers illegal, confiscatory rates.

13) Conspiring to rig the vote count in the state of Fl. by hacking optical scan machines and E-voting machines and covering up the latter by passing legislation in the state of Fl to prevent post-election examination of E-voting machines. There are many more impeachable offenses ordered by Bush and carried out by his agents ,such as the "outing" of CIA operative Valerie Plame. This info is what I can recover off the top of my head. Clearly an impeachment inquiry by the US House Judiciary Committeee is an action clearly overdue. Some of the allegations are violations of international law. They fall under the impeachment clause as well . An additional action of filing criminal referral to the UN War Crimes Tribunal in the Hague is also an absolute must if the United States wants to gain the esteem of the citizens of the entire world.

  • June 5. Where is the congress? Why aren’t the Democrats doing something about this? We continue to read articles like yours but do not see any progress. It only takes one member of congress to institute impeachment proceedings. Heaven help us all. I feel as though we are bcoming a fascist state. Sincerely, Carole

    • Congressional Democrats are essentially powerless.

Any bill (including impeachment) that Democrats may choose to introduce in committee will die unless it is approved by the Republican majority.

I blame the U.S. press for the misdeeds that this administration has gotten away with.

What can Congressional Democrats do ? Write letters, (about as much power as any one else!)

EIGHTY NINE congressional Democrats wrote a letter to the President demanding an explanation of the Downing Street Memo.

The supposedly "liberal" New York Times put this demand on PAGE TEN. In eight months, Monica Lewinsky appeared 27 times on PAGE ONE of the New York Times. (Liberal media bias???)

How about Valerie Plame ? I quote the NY Times from October 7, 2003:
President Bush said on Monday that the unauthorized disclosure of an undercover C.I.A. officer’s identity was a "very serious matter" and "a criminal action" as the White House announced that at least 500 of its 2,000 employees had responded to a Justice Department demand for documents as part of an investigation into the source of the leak.

Sounds important? Bush finds that a "criminal action" occurred in his administration.

Where did the Times put this ? PAGE 23. (Followed by a smattering of inner page followups - then ZILCH.)

A Criminal Action from within the Administration - according to THE PRESIDENT. I guess that just isn’t PAGE ONE material!! But Monica Lewinsky is?

The Exit Poll Discrepancy - Given virtually no coverage in the "mainstream" press. The biggest story was on Nightline which parroted the Mitofsky fairy tale of the "Reluctant Bush Voter".

Congressional Democrats are powerless now - and forever - if the 2004 election fraud is not exposed.

While there are many villains here, I put the PRESS at the top of the list.

    • Well stated, the only way the republican party will take action just maybe we need to write them all and tell them they also can be replaced.

I think we are are all going to have to write and let them, if every American would send a letter, email to each and everyone of them and demand that action be taken to
      removed
Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeldt,Rice,Gonazles, No on Bolton
we must remove all those who are his yes people. Bush will not listen to anyone, only his own stupid , bully
      argogant position.

He has his little gay friends in the white house doing their duty and Has Rove doing more of his dirty work.

WE HAVE THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. HE IS A INSULT TO THE Statue Liberty, Flag, Our FREEDOM HAS BEEN STOLEN.

IF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY DOES NOT STAND UP AND BE ACCOUNTABLE REMOVE THEM ALSO. They have no backbone,
they are the little wooden puppets they are not men, they have lost their ability to think, they do not vote for truth or facts, they vote because bush and his gang have instructed them. Media the christian movement has been mislead, Christian how do you define Christian, one who believes in truth, rights, fairness,

Christian today approve of lies, misleading , murder of your sons and daughters, and then there is the prison abuse, which they authorized, killing of millions of people in Iraq, lied to the world about the invasion, we were not at war, this is bush created war, its not about defending our country freedom, its about bush and his New World Order.

Republicans, are not longer men of honor but bush lizards They have no mind of their own, bush owns them all. How sad, they sold their soul to the devil.

      IMPEACH IMPEACH THEM ALL TODAY

    • Q: What do you call scavengers that follow the predators in order to eat any morsels they may leave behind?

      A: Democrats.

  • I see that you have collected a huge list of things that are not substantiated,
it’s interesting, but I don’t think it is of things anyone can likely prove to any existence.

I’d rather see incontravertible proof of 2 or 3 rather than a huge list of things for which there
is not much damning evidence. 1000 pieces of partial proof or innuendo of different offenses
doesn’t equal or approach whole proof of any offense.

In the US we believe in innocent until proven guilty, and noone deserves to have
such huge lists of allegations laid against them without proof. It is somewhat
dishonest to pose such a list under the guide that if any one claim should be refuted,
then 10 others would stand in its place when in reality none have been proved to
    be criminal offences he committed.

Certainly mere allegations do not, and news, public media agencies, bloggers,
and individual web sites are not in general sufficiently trustworthy sources of
    information to prove anything

Bush is not beholden to the conventions of the U.N. by the way, and the laws don’t
in general require human decency... things like digging dirt up on people may be
deplorable and immoral to some but aren’t illegal, and definitely don’t rise to the
    level of the impeachable.

So try to find a violation of U.S. law, not U.N./international sketchy political conventions,
and a violation than is in essence simple and personal (like lying under oath,
stealing, etc) and that you can reasonably prove.

Because I doubt such a thing exists... in fact, I doubt any of these could be
substantiated.. they are indeed mostly too much of a speculative nature.

If there really were known and obvious impeachable offences, you can bet
the democratic party would be the first in line to call him on them.

    > 1) ... entirely specious grounds.
You see, that is debatable: "specious" is too subjective.
But this is a decision within the executive discretion, he couldn’t be
    impeached for something like this.

    > 2) The decision to deploy chemical weapons in Fallujah ... these banned weapons
Within his discretion, and he doesn’t violate US law by making such
    a decision.

The president has about dictatorial discretion over these kinds of matters.

    > 3) The decision by Bush to dig up dirt ... was considering his ill-fated war resolution
    Not illegal.

    > 4) Authorizing torture of POW’s ...
    Unsubstantiated.

    Bogus?

    > 11) Engaging in a sytematic campaign of depriving political dissidents of their 1st
    > ammendment rights to condem Bush administration policy.

    Granted

    > Protesters are removed out of crowds and summarily placed in jail. The Secret Service,

    • There is plenty of proof and only those who do not want to see it don’t want to see it....that would be you.
