Home > Bush’s Legacy: Horrors of the "W" Museum
George Bush is hoping against hope to build a magnificent presidential library (he’s having a hard time finding a city which wants to host it!),to promote and hail his "legacy", as he believes it should be written.
My contacts tell me there won’t be a "library" (that’s libary to Bush), but instead a sort of Addam’s Family forboding mansion, made of rotting wood and bedecked with cobwebs. It will be called The Horrors Museum.
Over the entrance will be a coat of arms, featuring a white "coke" line, a small goat and a mushroom cloud...the three symbols best representing the Bush presidency, as far as the public is concerned.
Inside the museum we’ll find a number of fascinating if repulsive exhibits. These will include a wall with photos of the 154 Texas state prisoners who were put to death when "W" was governor of that fair state. Included will be a push-button recording of Bush’s joke about how Carla Fay Tucker kept pleading to George "Don’t kill me!".
Beyond that is a large photo of Karl Rove and Bush playing golf in the early days, and a mural showing Bush’s many failed business actions, most of which were funded by his Daddy, or by his influential political pals.
The first room to the left (follow me), features a string of incredible photos demonstrating the effectiveness of the GOP machine in persuading their zombie hoard. These include the bullhorn speech by Bush after 9/11 (many say it was scripted), a pic of Giuliani whispereing to Bernard Kerik "Thank God George Bush is our president" (ther is no proof this is true, but loyalists swear it MUST be!). Then of course the famous "Mission Accomplished" speech with the pastel uniforms, the fake story of Jessica Lynch being "rescued", the plastic turkey Bush Iraq visit, and the notorious "friendly fire" Pat Tillamn episode. This room alone will leave you speechless. But don’t stop here. Let’s move on to the next chamber of horrors on the right.
This is called "Torture City", and features statements by Bush and Gonzales about the quintness of the Geneva Accords, and the one by George "We don’t torture people", heard over large color photos of the hooded prisonere, the pyramid of nude Iraqis, the bloody victim of dog attacks, and various other bodies and corpses, many mutilatd by "unknown agents". At the far end of the room is a list of infamous secret CIA East European and Middle East prisons where "persons of interest" were "rendered"..some quite literally!. Of course, to be fair, there are recordings from various Republicans denying the truth of these reports.
There is a huge room upstairs in the museum, where you can review the aerial photos of various water, electrical and sewage systems which we destroyed with bombs...contrary to Geneva Convention rules, and some ruined hospitals, schools and mosques.
There are printed stories of women who were raped and killed by American troops, and tons of photos of dead and maimed Iraqi citizens we wiped out (said to be over 1/2 million!)..and then there are the sad photos of the thousands of orphans we created by our noble actions.
The next room smells like a hospital, and you should enter at your own risk. This is the area which presents for your entertainment, photos of the thousands of soldiers who returned from Iraq and Afghanistan too maimed or mentally destroyed to continue the battle. Of course Mr. Bush has included endless recordings of soldiers uttering such phrases as "As soon as I get a new leg I’m going back to fight the Haji", or "I’ll get my head straight and then re-up for another 3 tours...I want to be with my buddies and save the Iraqis from the heathens"...etc,etc.etc.
The list of horrors goes on and on; the Depleted Uranium room, the Suicide chamber, The PTS closet....by all means come and enjoy the fine and lasting legacy of the man Dick Cheney calls "One of the best presidents of all time".

Your article shows more truth than humor. The Bush "legacy" will show only failure, incompetence, arrogance, bullying, scheming, secrecy, and lust for power.
