Does George Bush Bother You?
By Peter Fredson
March 11, 2006
I don’t care how much brush George cuts down on that ex-pig farm that he calls a ranch. I don’t care how many barbecues he has there, or if he strums a guitar, eats cake, watches TV, eats pretzels, rides bicycles, or gets on with his life in Crawford, Texas. He can spend his entire life strutting, swaggering, and smirking there. In fact, he can do anything the Texas Rangers will not stop. That doesn’t bother me.
As long as (…)

eventually the police state will be so complete, that information will be assembled which will allow george to know if you wipe, when you wipe, and wherher you wipe properly. he will then sell this information to sharmin and then allow them to rewrite the tissue law to only allow you to trade with sharmin, his approved tissue. now you may ask why i write such silly diatribe, and i must respond , look around you , do you really think he want?

Are Republicans Getting a Clue?
10 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
6 commentsWith the trouncing of the pretend president, George W. (for waste) Bush on the ports deal, Congressional Republicans should take note that their poll numbers are looking better. For all Republican representatives in the House and a third of those in the Senate, this is an election year and the message may need to be drummed into their thick, heretofore unyielding skulls: Distancing yourself from the President will help you get re-elected.
If Republicans are really concerned about (…) -

Looking at the TV news yesterday I was struck by two separate views. One was of George Bush signing a document. He had a big grin on his face, and was obviously ecstatic with his success, badly needed after several months of falling polls. Why did that puzzle me?
First the Republican Senators gave Bush the ability to commit the most outrageous attack on civil rights ever perpetrated in this country against our (…) -
USEFUL TRAITS FOR A PRESIDENT

By Peter Fredson
March 9, 2006
It is difficult to find exactly what presidents do. They interact with other humans constantly, using speech as their main tool, attempting to solve social and economic problems by getting other people to do the actual physical or social tasks they recommend, with a reputation based mainly on success in their endeavors. Some are rewarded handsomely with lavish living arrangements, social rituals, servants, and certain (…) -

Since retirement, he’s been writing and teaching law at the University of Central Florida and the Barry University School of Law. He was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy in the 1960s, serving as a Naval Aviator in the Atlantic, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. On Monday, Mr. DuRocher returned his Lieutenant’s shoulder bars and Navy wings to (…)

Grounds for Impeachment
9 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentGeorge W. Bush and his Administration have been so brazen in violating the law and asserting monarchical powers that we, as American citizens, must use the tool that the Constitution provides to reassert our rights, to reset the system of checks and balances, and to reestablish our democracy. That tool is impeachment.
Article II, Section 4, states: “The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, (…) -

THE BUSH /CHENEY DICKTATORSHIP : NIXON ON STEROIDS (PART ONE)
9 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
Here were some of the charges proffered by the US House Judiciary Committee against President Richard Nixon in July 1974 . Accompanying that charge is a similar and often far greater act of presidential malfeasance committed by those two untouchables , President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney ....... 1 ) From Article One 1974 : making false or misleading statements to lawfully authorised investigative officers... of the United States / 2006 : Cheney (…)

Is Bush Spying on His Political Opponents?
9 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsWith the Rove machine in full blast demonizing anyone who dares speak out against the noble and necessary "Terrorist Surveillance Program", it becomes more clear that Democrats need to strike back. Instead of merely saying that the spying program is illegal and unwarranted, the Dems need to question Bush’s intent. He, of course, says that the purpose of the program is to stop terrorist attacks from occurring on US soil. Democrats need to respond by questioning this intent and push the fact (…)
