Allow me just a moment of your time to outline what I believe are the ONLY THREE ISSUES on which all candidates for Congressional elections should run.
These three issues are central to the immediate future of our nation and every candidate - Democrat and Republican alike - should be forced to take a strong public stance on these critical issues.
In order of importance:
1. Impeachment of the President and Vice President for (take your pick) lying us into war in Iraq, stealing the 2004 (…)

You gots to dance with the one what brung you: Embed Reporting
8 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentIt is a sad fact of life in the media world that the major Networks, mainstream and cable, must of necessity have stringers,or what is currently labelled "embeds"...reporters whose job it is to spout the Administration’s drivel of the day.
At CNN (the only network I dare watch), Barbara Starr and Jamie McIntire (military) and Dana Bash (White House) are called upon by news anchors on a regular basis to shore up the Administration’s position, thus perpetuating the BIG LIE. It is done smoothly (…) -
Calls for IMPEACHMENT grow louder
8 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsFrom discussion to action — Michael Ratner and his fellow lawyers have drafted a call to impeach President Bush.
Until recently, talk of ousting President George W. Bush has proved little more than a distant rumbling. For too long, impeachment has been deemed implausible. It’s not going to happen with a Republican Congress, so the argument goes. Not with the president finishing his second term, not while we’re at war.
But the distant rumbling is growing louder by the day, creating a (…) -
No backlash for Democrats- Impeachment supported by the will of the people!
7 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsIf Democratic candidate Tony Trupiano wins a Michigan House seat this fall, he pledges that one of his first acts will be to introduce articles of impeachment against President Bush.
That has earned Mr. Trupiano the endorsement of ImpeachPAC, a group of Democratic activists seeking to remove Mr. Bush from office. ImpeachPAC’s Web site lists 14 candidates offering similar commitments, which are reminiscent of the Republican drive to oust former President Bill Clinton after the Monica (…) -
with 2 million laws how can you follow them all
7 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsFirst i have no style of writing, but i have something to say , so please hear me out. A few things i would like you to consider. In the USA now we have almost 2 million laws, for every law imagineable has already been written, and in the last 5.5 excruciating years in America there has been a new law to circumvent them. Now I ask you to also consider one example here. websters defines terrorism as mass organized ruthlessness: torture as defined malicious ruthlessness. the patriot act (…)

ESCAPING TYRANNY : A NATION DIVIDED ?
7 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThe first neoconservative , President Abraham Lincoln , placed millions in the meat grinder to save the union. Is it now time to separate this federal union in order save the lives of millions , both here and abroad ? This divorce decree would be an amicable parting of the ways between neocon imperialists and their kindred spirits - so called "Christian" Zionists - and those paleoconservatives , libertarians , and progressives who seek to end needless military interventions (…)

Congress is about to renew the USA PATRIOT Act. After the act was first passed in 2001, members of Congress excused away their votes by saying they didn’t have time to study it and were still under the influence of 9/11 shock. By now, they have had ample time to study it, and even to examine "improvements" added to the bill, such as section 3056A.
Others have had the time, like the author of the following.
A provision in (…) -

MAINTAINING OUR VALUES

By Peter Fredson
March 6, 2006
The give-away of our Port Maintenance by G.W.Bush has threatened the jobs of many thousands of port workers by giving them to foreigners. We understand this is part of his neocon strategy for world dominance through globalization, in which individuals are pawns in his plutocrat empire.
Our objection is about his denigration of American labor, genius, energy, and industry for purposes of gaining power and wealth.
Once Bush (…)
