The struggle against the new U.S. military base in Vicenza, Italy continues. Another national demonstration will be held on February 17. Our group, U.S. Citizens for Peace & Justice, has endorsed this march and will participate, together with U.S. Citizens Against War in Florence.

Several hundred people on Saturday took to the streets of downtown Munich amid tight security to protest against the three-day Munich Security Conference which opened in the Bavarian capital on Friday evening.
Holding anti-US and pro-peace signs, radical leftists, anarchists and peace activists marched near the bastion-like conference site as hundreds of policemen kept a watchful eye on the peaceful crowd.

Given the amount of stupid and insane behaviors that people participate and support both knowingly and unknowingly as a result of being ignorant it is amazing that we have not already destroyed the earth and any possible useful future we could have out of our sheer in ability to act in our own best interest.
