Movement Wars and conflicts USA

Joshua Muravchik an American Enterprise Institute scholar wrote an article for, Commentary magazine, titled ’Comrades’. The title is a testimony to the authors earlier days as a Socialist, Communist sympathizer, not that there is anything wrong with that, unless they conspired to commit treason. The first paragraphs of Muravchik’s article, recounts, when the author wrote an article in 1972 for Commentary magazine attacking George McGovern.

It is ironic that McGovern was a decorated war veteran that wanted to end the Viet Nam war and Josh was a radical socialist working with the unions, sideing with Nixon against McGovern in the 1972 presidential race.

The AEI oracle describes an epiphany ( Flip-Flop ) a conversion from Comrade socialist leftie to a militant Ultra Nationalist or NeoConservative. ’Comrade’ the article documents his involvement with political groups involved with the college campus circa 1972 and Karl Rove’s entrance to the College scene just as Muravchik converted and dedicated his career to the NeoCon movement. The Comrades new agenda was to use the Military might of America to spread the greatness of America on a global scale.

Comrade Muravchick’s article shows that when the Viet Nam war was raging he was fighting for a radical Socialist cause. Now, he and the Neo Conservatives and members of the AEI are associated with ChickenHawks, according to the New Hampshire Gazette. For a definition of what a ChickenHawk is and a list of their names and lack or deferment of service, see the New Hampshire Gazette web site.

Another great irony is the Comrades mention of Sun Myung Moon, the Korean born Cult leader. Joshua explains that the Moonies were also active on campus in 1972 but did not have much influence and when he became a NeoCon they were left behind with the Lefties. In 1972 Moon was taking out full page adds praising Nixon. But in hindsight Moon would go on to collaborate with individuals and groups like the NeoCons and the AEI and the Republican National Committee. A decorated vet.Ted Sampley, in the 1995 Feb/March issue of "Veterans Dispatch" Sampley claims the Intelligence agencies and the Republican party had been infiltrated by Moon and his sympathizers

In 1972 the Union Leader and William Loeb were beholden to Jimmy Hoffa a notorious leader of the Unions in jail at the time for organized crime activities. Hoffa had leant loeb some money to bolster his paper. In an article in the Nation a Manchester native Doder writes that the Washington Times was created along the lines of the Union Leader and employed the editorial tactics of William Loeb. It is not surprising when you realize that it was Max Hugel a NH political figure and darling of Loeb’s Newspaper in 1979 to 1981 election period that funneled the money for the Washington Times. In 1972 the unions, Muravchick, Sun Myung Moon and the Union Leader were anti McGovern.

The ’Comrade’ article gives Muravchick credit for starting the NeoCon movement and the author writes that Bush is not a NeoCon. Taken at face value Joshua dismisses the Moonies during their 1972 meeting but it is clear from the first president Bush to the second President Bush that they embrace and enjoy monetary benefits from Moon. Perhaps it is this that separates them but that is for the Comrade to explain.

Recently the presidents brother was traveling with Moon on his world wide peace tour. Bush admitted in his divorce case that when traveling in other counties women would appear at his hotel room unannounced to service him. An investigation in the 70’s of Moon was precipitated by a scandal called KoreaGate involving Korean prostitutes being employed to infiltrate the Congress. I would not have to be researching the dark side if it were not for their Treason.

I would like to challenge Comrade Muravchick to define what Bush is and what is the influence of Moon and his motives. The last time a conservative mentioned Moon’s name and the size of his group in an article in the Wall Street Journal he was fired from his position at the Young Americas Foundation.
