Is anyone really going to disagree with that? I think it rings true, if we really cared about our young men and women, then we would bring them home.
Our young men and women were sent to Iraq on lies, yet now we must stay.... just another lie- yet it’s accepted as truth because the Democratic Leadership agrees with Bush. The new House Dem Leader supports the Repub plan to send more troops, & cutting the funding (how Vietnam ended) is not an option.
Hmmm, why don’t the "Opposition Leaders" oppose the war?

Now that the Democrats won, it is time to Impeach for such actions as the gov’t rountinely violating our Constitutional rights.
They violate the 1st Amendment by caging demonstrators and banning books like "America Deceived" from Amazon. America Deceived (book)
They violate the 2nd Amendment by confiscating guns during Katrina.
They violate the 4th Amendment by conducting warrant-less wiretaps.
They violate the 5th and 6th Amendment by suspending habeas corpus.
They violate the 8th Amendment by torturing.
They violate the entire Constitution by starting 2 illegal wars based on lies and on behalf of a foriegn gov’t.

To whomever feels that the troops want to stay and ‘finish the job’- It is time to explore the basic tenet of Christianity “Do unto others…”
These brave soldiers signed up to protect our country, they put their lives on the line for US- how many more years will we let them rot in Iraq because people in denial can’t handle the truth? We owe the troops the truth, and to bring them home to safety. It is the least we can do!

Then, right after you take your first delicious bite, I hope you choke on it because you don’t deserve to enjoy anything for all the innocent Iraqi and American blood you have spilled...
To the rest of you, please say a prayer for the strength to impeach the lying bastards who sent our soldiers-our sons and daughters-into this endless war.
Write and call your representatives. They have every intention of misusing your kids too-they don’t care if you don’ t want the draft. They didn’t care that we didn’t want this war; now did they?

If every consumer QUIT using oil tommorrow, or if Iraq’s oil somehow became UNUSABLE (say contaminated by radiation) you would see troops packing their bags for home in haste. It is not so much the oil ITSELF the U.S. needs right now but rather CONTROL of the oil and bases and a compliant regime in place to stop that bad, bad, Euro from being used for exchange and instead re-establishing the good ol greenback. THIS and other ECONOMIC reasons are at the heart of the Iran issue also. My family today will be thinking of the suffering of all of the other families that can’t be together because of these stupid OIL and TURF wars, and will continue to voice our support for ending this senseless spilling of the blood of hundreds and hundreds of thousands of citizens and the wounding of God knows how many more.
