SOTU 2006 Comments
By Peter Fredson
February 2, 2006
The lengthy speech of G.W.Bush at the SOTU met all of my expectations. I expected Bush to mention 9/11 and was not mistaken. I expected many other words and phrases designed to arouse emotions and was not mistaken. Terrah, Iraq, Stay the Course, God, etc. all were applauded by the sycophant gathering.
I have dissected some of Bush’s speeches and found many phrases to be old friends. Bush promises have previously been promised (…)

Big Pimp Baby Daddy Addicted to Oil
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)

Big Pimp Baby Daddy Addicted to Oil By Dr. June Terpstra G.W. Bush, a man whose family made their fortunes from banks, oil, CIA deceptions and war profiteering had the gall to spin an "addicted to oil" story line in his state of the union speech last night. In yet another Orwellian spin job to distract and manipulate his listeners he introduces the concept of throwing a few scientists at a problem from which he and his have greatly profited. I can picture republican (…) -
Our Union In A State Of Great Peril: Spying on Americans is illegal, unjustified, a gross abuse
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
WASHINGTON - January 31 - Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich (D-OH) issued the following statement on the President’s State of the Union address:
"Don’t be fooled by the President’s rosy rhetoric, as is most often the case with this Administration, the President’s rhetoric does not match reality. The truth is our union is in a state of great peril. This Administration is conducting a war with no end in Iraq, illegally spying on Americans at home, overseeing an economy that is increasingly (…) -
THE BUSH FAMILY & 9/11 : CONNECTING THE DOTS
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentExhibit # 1 : Bush 43 or his representatives have given 9 different accounts of when the GREAT MAN received the news that a plane had struck one of the World Trade Centre Towers. After being told by his chief of Staff : " Mr. President, America is under attack" , he responds by continuing to listen to reading lessons from 6th graders. Granted most of them of them are his intellectual superiors , but why did act in such a dilatory manner , dawdling around as if he didn’t have a (…)

Bush’s Removal of the Abramoff Prosecutor was a Political Deal to Scuttle the Investigation
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
On Friday, January 27, immediately after Bush announced Noel Hillman the federal Abramoff prosecutor was leaving his position to become a federal judge, I wrote that it was a political deal to stop the Abramoff prosecution. I posted an article on Huffington Post on January 29th.
We now know there was a political deal between the Bush Administration and New Jersey Democrats to get rid of the Abramoff prosecutor, Noel Hillman, by offering him a federal judgeship in New Jersey. It’s a deal (…) -
Left’s Chorus Grows for Bush Impeachment
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentWASHINGTON - As President Bush prepared to address Congress, some members of the House began calling for his impeachment - a call that has been growing over the last few months, when only the far fringes of the American left called for his ouster.
On Tuesday, eight-term California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters said the president should be impeached for authorizing the warrantless surveillance of some Americans through the National Security Agency.
"If a president’s untruthfulness about (…) -
The United States of America will cease to exist on February 5th, 2006
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
14 commentsBack in June 2005 I realized that in order to turn the United States into a full-fledged police state, one more major "terrorist attack" would be needed. But it would have to be even more spectacular than the U.S. Government-engineered "9/11." That means one thing: a nuclear bomb being detonated in America by "terrorists." Here is what I predicted in June 2005: Sometime before the 2008 presidential election, and possibly much, much sooner, the United States Government will detonate a (…)

State of the Union: Cindy Sheehan Arrested for "Unlawful Conduct" - Wearing an Antiwar T-shirt
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
7 commentsWASHINGTON (Reuters) - Activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested in the House chamber on Tuesday shortly before President Bush gave his State of the Union address because she refused to cover up an anti-war slogan on her shirt.
Sheehan, who was attending the speech as the guest of Democratic Rep. Lynn Woolsey of California, was taken from the Capitol in handcuffs and charged with unlawful conduct, said Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider.
A Reuters photographer said Sheehan entered the (…) -
George W. Bush - State Of The Union Address
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsI just finished watching Bush’s State of The Union Address - I was barely able to sit through the broadcast without vomiting - I have never heard one person lie so many times on one occasion.
George Bush, in his zeal to cover up reality and truth, makes it easy to decipher the real state of the union - you simply flip EVERYTHING he says - to the exact opposite - yes this is how you do it - since our President and his gang of thieves are not capable of being honest.
A most disgusting (…) -
Law Students Turn Backs On Alberto Gonzales & Say No To Bush Spying
1 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
6 commentsFuture American lawyers to be proud of
Alberto Gonzales spoke before law students at Georgetown today, justifying illegal, unauthorized surveilance of US citizens, but during the course of his speech the students in class did something pretty ballsy and brave. They got up from their seats and turned their backs to him.
To make matters worse for Gonzales, additional students came into the room, wearing black cowls and carrying a simple banner, written on a sheet.
Fortunately for him, it (…)
