by Michael Smith
The Sunday Times
THE American general who commanded allied air forces during the Iraq war appears to have admitted in a briefing to American and British officers that coalition aircraft waged a secret air war against Iraq from the middle of 2002, nine months before the invasion began.
The nine months of allied raids "laid the foundations" for the allied victory, Moseley said. They ensured that (…)

By Stephen Grey and Don Van Natta Jr. The New York Times
MILAN The extraordinary decision by an Italian judge to order the arrest of 13 people linked to the CIA on charges of kidnapping a terrorism suspect here dramatizes a growing rift between American counterterrorism officials and their counterparts in Europe. European counterterrorism officials have pursued a policy of building criminal cases against terrorism suspects through (…) -

Former MI5 agent David Shayler, who previously blew the whistle on the British government paying Al Qaeda $200,000 to carry out political assassinations, has gone on the record with his conviction that 9/11 was an inside job meant to bring about a permanent state of emergency in America and pave the way for the invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq and ultimately Iran and Syria.
David Shayler joined MI5 in October (…) -
The government lied to us all. That is a fact. Are you going to do something about it?
27 June 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsThe evidence for the US Government having deliberately lied to the people of this nation to trick them into supporting a war of conquest is now overwhelming. The Downing Street Memos, the "Dodgy Dossier", the forged Nigerian "Yellow Cake" papers, Colin Powell’s fraudulent presentation to the UN, .etc .etc .etc all establish a clear pattern of intentional deception.
The government lied to us all. The mainstream media helped them do it. So did Israel. Yes, all those necessary hundreds of (…) -
Abizaid: "Cost in Blood and Treasure" 2nd Lt.: "The War is Lost"
27 June 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentVice President Dick Cheney needs to talk to his generals more often. Michael Hedges of the Houston Chronicle reports that Gen. John Abizaid, who has recently consulted with US commanders in Iraq, said today that the guerrilla movement in Iraq is as strong now as it was 6 months ago. Dick Cheney recently said it was in its "last throes." If so, the throes appear likely to go on for decades. Abizaid, however, conveyed an unrealistic impression that the Iraqi forces will take over the heavy (…)

WTI: PRELIMINARY DECLARATION OF THE JURY OF CONSCIENCE WORLD
27 June 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsIn February 2003, weeks before war was declared on Iraq, millions of people protested in the streets of the world. That call went unheeded. No international institution had the courage or conscience to stand up to the aggression of the US and UK governments. No one could stop them. It is two years later now. Iraq has been invaded, occupied, and devastated. The attack on Iraq is an attack on justice, on liberty, on our safety, on our future, on us all. We the people of conscience decided to (…)

US Troops Want Exit Plan "Not one more soldier should die over here for it is a needless death"
27 June 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsI have been talking to my fellow soldiers about this whole situation and I have told them about how the leadership in Washington is trying to get the American people to silence their criticisms of the continued lunacy we call the occupation of Iraq.
I tell them that they are saying to the Congress: Well, ya know our poor soldiers wanna stay and finish the fight in Iraq but you people in Washington D.C. are under cutting their morale by bringing up this time table stuff and what the hell (…)
