What does Roosevelt have to do with Abu Ghraib ?

A US perspective

Since 1944, ie. for most of the past 50 years the US of A armed and trained proxies and client states to do most of the dirty work (while we ’mostly’ advised and trained). The new wrinkle of Guantanamo Bay and Bagram AFB and Abu Ghraib and the worldwide network of black holes is conducting the torture ourselves, directly.

Is it reasonable to suggest we as a nation and people are any less guilty when we have it done, ’handsoff’, by proxies and plausably deniable direct action Black Ops...?! an interesting moral and legal position...may one suggest that it is, oh my god, ’worse’ because we have beeen caught doing ’it’ directly ?!...it is only because of the global scope of thier insane policies that it has come to this...insufficient numbers of dedicated and experienced specialist operatives to meet the demand...thus the ’unwise’ use of non-compartmented resources, ie. Army MI, etc...

Wake up folks, how can we justify crimes of this nature against humanity going back 5 decades based on our desire to ’maintain’ a way of life, read ’lifestyle’...how many lost souls and lost futures have we annihilated to satisfy the needs of the one grouping that was never meant to recieve such overwhelming dominance and power...SHAREHOLDERS...

Dwight Eisenhower most clearly articulated the dangers to the nation of the ’military-industrial complex’...and we continue to refuse to accept the reality staring us in our face...why are we stationing troops in Georgia goddamnit ?

Roosevelt broke up Rockefeller and co and created the antitrust laws...it must be done again, and the media coonglomerates must be broken up too to ensure a true free press (the fourth estate) does perform its government oversight function deemed so necessary by our prescient founding fathers...
