Pat Robertson and Sun Myung Moon Just point and laugh By Liberal Republican
Pat Robertson, friend of Bush, can not be taken seriously in his remarks inciting assassins, because he has a history of wacky quotes. The same is true for Sun Myung Moon, who was crowned king by Americas top "Able Danger" intelligence snoop, Curt Weldon, in a federal building. Unfortunately the "Just point and Laugh" attitude makes them invisible and of no consequence although Pat and Moon, beginning in the (…)

The story of the White Rose inevitably makes people with a military mindset very uncomfortable
24 August 2005The White Rose: A Lesson in Dissent
Hans and Sophie Scholl were German teenagers in the 1930s. Like other young Germans, they enthusiastically joined the Hitler Youth. They believed that Adolf Hitler was leading Germany and the German people back to greatness.
Their parents were not so enthusiastic. Their father—Robert Scholl—told his children that Hitler and the Nazis were leading Germany down a road of destruction. Later—in 1942—he would serve time in a Nazi prison for telling his (…) -

Republican "Christian" broadcaster Pat Robertson has suggested that the U.S. government should assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez!
Pat Robertson told viewers of his "The 700 Club" show that "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability" and that "We don’t need another $200 billion war to get rid of one strong-arm dictator. It’s a whole lot easier to have some of (…) -

Iraq like Vietnam? The speeches sound familiar...
"To abandon this small and brave nation to its enemies, and to the terror that must follow, would be an unforgivable wrong," Johnson said. "To withdraw from one battlefield means only to prepare for the next." At that moment, only 400 American boys had died in the rice paddies.

Borrowing, Spending, Counterfeiting
24 August 2005Texas Straight Talk http://www.house.gov/paul/
Few Americans truly understand how our Federal Reserve system enables Congress to spend far beyond its means, but the cycle of spending and printing money affects all of us. Simply put, the more money our Treasury prints, the less every dollar is worth. Our pure fiat money system, in place since the last vestiges of a gold standard were eliminated in the early 1970s, has reduced the value of your savings by 80%. Disregard the government’s (…) -
Michel Chossudovsky and the Dogs of Reprisal
24 August 2005As I walked through the living room, on my way outside to play with the incoming coax cables (on occasion I have to do this to get my broadband working), I passed my wife camped out before the television, watching a "debate" between FBI whistleblower Colleen Rowley and a loud, obnoxious, an interruptive Mark Williams who claimed, as I drifted past, that Saddam Hussein had "chemical weapons" (even Williams should know this was an obvious lie) and Rowley is a "traitor" because she opposes the (…)
