Just yesterday in his broadcast on the 700 Club Reverend Pat Robertson called for the assassination of President Hugo Chavez who is the President of Venezuela.
I find this outrageous coming from an alleged man of God.
I find this equally outrageous that a man who believes in the sanctity of all human life would call for this.
By calling for a world leader’s assassination, this proves that he is NOT PRO LIFE, but part of the sick machine that has taken hold of our (…)

My Response to George as he Speaks From his Vacation Away From his Vacation
24 August 2005by Cindy Sheehan
"President Bush charged Tuesday that anti-war protesters like Cindy Sheehan who want troops brought home immediately do not represent the views of most U.S. military families and are ’advocating a policy that would weaken the United States.’"
Bringing our troops home from the quagmire that he has gotten us into will be weakening the United States? George: even if you pretend you didn’t know that Saddam did not have weapons of mass destruction and Iraq was not threat to (…) -
Why aren’t 350 bombs exploding simultaneously big news?
24 August 2005By S. Rowan Wolf, Ph.D.
August 23, 2005 (Uncommon Thought Journal)-On Wednesday August 17, 350 bombs exploded simultaneously across Bangladesh. The U.S. corporate media did a sound bite and the story disappeared. Even most of the international media have given the story short shrift.
I am baffled as one would think that this would be top line news. Setting off 350 explosions in 50 cities across a country at the same time would seem to require a relatively large network of bombers and a (…) -
Americans Surrendering Liberties: Shades Of German History

Food For Thought From The Chuck Wagon
It appears that a strengthened U.S.A. Patriot Act will soon sail through Congress with little opposition or consternation on the part of the American people. The new Patriot Act is even more stringent than the original. In addition, many of the more egregious elements of the Patriot Act which were originally scheduled to sunset are made permanent in the latest version. And the vast majority of the American people do not seem to mind. (…) -
Simply Red : Cuba’s Unique, Says British Rocker

Huncknall, the bands vocalist and composer, said he was surprised by the lack of commercial ads along Havana’s streets. “It’s different to the rest of the world, where all the cities seem to be the same,” he added.
The singer praised Cuban music, particularly the island’s wind and percussion instrumentalists, whom he said add (…) -

Second Officer Says 9/11 Leader Was Named Before Attacks
24 August 2005By PHILIP SHENON
WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 - An active-duty Navy captain has become the second military officer to come forward publicly to say that a secret intelligence program tagged the ringleader of the Sept. 11 attacks as a possible terrorist more than a year before the attacks.
The officer, Scott J. Phillpott, said in a statement on Monday that he could not discuss details of the military program, which was called Able Danger, but confirmed that its analysts had identified the Sept. 11 (…) -
SPINNING THE WHEELS
23 August 2005SPINNING THE WHEELS (A diffuse Rant)
By Peter Fredson
August 23, 2005
It is not only Lance Armstrong that makes wheels spin. George Bush has determined not to let reality intrude on his fantasy in Iraq, so he and his thugs engage in spinning the truth like Whirling Dervishes. He has decided to wage an intensive personality campaign, manic in intensity, in which he struts, swaggers, grins, smiles broadly, gives bear-hugs, stares intensely to show sincerity, and does his level best to (…) -
IAC Condemns Pat Robertson’s Statements on Venezuela
23 August 2005Demands Immediate Retraction and calls for an end to U.S. Hostility against Venezuela
The International Action Center strongly condemns Pat Robertson’s recent public statements on Venezuela. Robertson is a founder of the Christian Coalition of America and a former presidential candidate.
On August 22, Robertson stated on the Christian Broadcast Network’s “The 700 Club” that President Chavez is a “terrific danger" to the United States and is turning Venezuela into a “launching pad for (…)
