Disengagement’s Foreplay
by Ran HaCohen
Historic days in Israel: a showdown between the government and the settlers. Though the sides do negotiate behind the scenes, this time it does not look like the cat-and-mouse games for the media a few years ago, Prime Minister Barak’s favorite dissimulation, when a few settlers were filmed dragged from some unmanned West Bank outpost after signing a confidential agreement with the government assuring their return once the cameras were gone. This (…)

The Real Meaning of the Murder of Jean Charles de Menezes
31 July 2005The Real Meaning of the Murder of Jean Charles de Menezes Garbis Altinoglu, 29 July 2005
The killing on 22 July, of a 27-year old Brazilian electrician Jean Charles de Menezes at a tube station in south London is a blatant example of state terrorism. From what has transpired, any unbiased person could understand that, what happened that day was a pre-planned cold-blooded murder by the police or the military.
According to the account provided by the (…) -
HOW MUCH DO I LOATHE THEE?
31 July 2005LET ME COUNT THE WAYS. PART ONE By Peter Fredson July 31, 2005
I have been keeping track of George W. Bush and his strange shenanigans for over 6 years. I have hundreds of files on his doings, sayings, and atrocities. I did not start out hating him, but was curious about how this callow shallow inarticulate culturally-incurious spoiled rich boy could possibly have been entered into the political arena by the party bosses.
His early years shed no light on his leadership ability. His rich (…) -
KOCO-TV Suppresses an Explosive 9/11 News Report
31 July 2005I have not been keeping this a secret all this time. I started putting this information online at my own website in December 2002.
In the fall of 2001, a librarian at the University of Oklahoma in Norman (OU) told me that she was present when the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) conducted an interview about the fact that an airline ticket for a 9/11 hijacker was purchased from a computer terminal at that school’s library. She said it was for United Flight 93, which crashed in (…) -

Public Enemy #1: GWB et. al.
31 July 2005GWB, et. al. are the most dangerous occupants of the white house ever. They are the #1 traitors in the world. They are also the #1 terrorist organization, and now they have the House, Senate, Supreme Court, mainstream media, UN, World Bank, half the U.S. population, and U.K. and Polish leaders in their pockets. GWB reveres the biblical Book of Revelations (please take a look at that if you’re not familiar with it), and combine that with the neo-conartist "New American Century" plans to rule (…)

Neck deep in the Big Muddy
31 July 2005BY ANDREW GREELEY
The Big Muddy is deeper and darker. Two Pentagon reports this week show just how muddy. In a survey of the morale of soldiers in Iraq, the Pentagon found that more than half said that morale in their units was either "low" or "very low." Morale was especially low, as one would have expected, among the National Guard and Reserve units. Only half of them said they had "real confidence" in their ability to carry out their mission, probably because they were not trained for (…) -

31 July 2005by Michael Isikoff
Aug. 8, 2005 issue - An FBI agent warned superiors in a memo three years ago that U.S. officials who discussed plans to ship terror suspects to foreign nations that practice torture could be prosecuted for conspiring to violate U.S. law, according to a copy of the memo obtained by NEWSWEEK. By Charles Babington and Justin Blum
After years of partisan impasses and legislative failures, Congress in a matter of hours yesterday passed or advanced three far-reaching bills that will allocate billions of dollars and set new policies for guns, roads and energy.
The measures sent to President Bush for his signature will grant $14.5 billion in tax breaks for energy-related matters and devote $286 (…)
