    I’m guessing that if we don’t invade Iran, create laws that further restrict civil liberties, and/or establish more secret interrogation facilities where we smear doo-doo on people in a humane way, the terrorists will strike again.
    After all, they hate us because of our freedom, so if we give in to their demands they might stop terrorizing us.

No harm done and no crime committed (since the relevant law says a leak only counts as a crime if the exposed officer was working under cover).
