We need a clear concise list of what media outlets are independently owned that is easily accessible to people fed up with corporate propaganda machines.
Not to mention it whould be wonderful to be able to shift masses of subscriptions, readers, and viewers to the more deserving ones. While we’re at it, let the owners know what we’re doing and that we’ll dust them off too if they sell to the corps.
Whap the bad ones in the wallet, the only thing they understand.

N.M. Still Counting Provisional Ballots
16 November 2004Nearly two weeks after John Kerry conceded the election and President Bush laid out his agenda, New Mexico is among several states that have yet to determine the winner’s margin of victory.
Bush was declared the state’s winner by The Associated Press and maintained a 6,061 vote lead Friday as most counties finished counting provisional ballots, according to an unofficial AP tally.
The state canvassing board will not certify the results until Nov. 23 - after the uncounted votes are (…) -
Denial Of Water To Iraqi Cities
16 November 2004by Daniel O’Huiginn and Alison Klevnas
Introduction
Water supplies to Tall Afar, Samarra and Fallujah have been cut off during US attacks in the past two months, affecting up to 750,000 civilians. This appears to form part of a deliberate US policy of denying water to the residents of cities under attack. If so, it has been adopted without a public debate, and without consulting Coalition partners. It is a serious breach of international humanitarian law, and is deepening Iraqi (…) -
The Defeated Whimper, Lick Their Wounds, and Scratch Their Heads...Meanwhile, Iraq is Burning
16 November 2004So What Are You Going to Do About It?
By DONNA J. VOLATILE
John Kerry has slithered back under the rock from whence he came but never fear he’ll be back. Like the Clinton’s, like Gore and countless other ineffectual democrats, he’ll be back, and he’ll be received very well, possibly even be rewarded for his successful exploits: destroying the third party alternative and breaking the anti-war movement with his bare hands.

Mainstream media loses all credibility in attempting to cover vote fraud
16 November 2004The only power that the mainstream media has is that the American people trust them to tell us the truth. As more an more Americans realize that the mainstream media is spoonfed news bites that they want us to hear, their propaganda becomes less powerful. Our democracy is based on a free press and fair vote and it is becoming obvious that in this country we have neither. As our supposed investigative reporters ignore the pile of vote irregularities favoring Bush, they are making (…)

Recount in Ohio a Sure Thing
16 November 2004Green Party Campaign Raises $150,000 in 4 Days, Shifts Gears to Phase II
There will be a recount of the presidential vote in Ohio.
On Thursday, David Cobb, the Green Party’s 2004 presidential candidate, announced his intention to seek a recount of the vote in Ohio. Since the required fee for a statewide recount is $113,600, the only question was whether that money could be raised in time to meet the filing deadline. That question has been answered.

Amnesty: Rules of war violated in Fallujah
16 November 2004Rules of war that protect innocent civilians and combatants have been violated in the U.S-led offensive in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, the human rights group Amnesty International said on Monday.
The London-based group, which has provided evidence of what it described as breaching war rules, demanded on Monday an investigation to be launched to study all violation cases and that those responsible be brought to justice.

Conspiracy theories: Republican delusions
16 November 2004Conspiracy theories seem to be the talk of the town lately. One theory that is overlooked however, is the republican conspiracy theory...talk about wearing tin foil hats. Let’s review...
Confirmed drug addict by his own admission, Rush Limbaugh, with his policy of scaring his listeners with conspiracy theories about the liberal left media. What’s next for Rush? Alien autopsies...republicans can do better then that. We believe in you. Try again.
Ok, how about Coulter and her new book? (…)
