Mainstream media loses all credibility in attempting to cover vote fraud

The only power that the mainstream media has is that the American people trust them to tell us the truth. As more an more Americans realize that the mainstream media is spoonfed news bites that they want us to hear, their propaganda becomes less powerful.

Our democracy is based on a free press and fair vote and it is becoming obvious that in this country we have neither. As our supposed investigative reporters ignore the pile of vote irregularities favoring Bush, they are making their choice to support Facism. But the American people also have a choice to ignore them and become the media themselves which is exactly what is happening. More and more people are shutting their TV’s off and searching for real news on the internet.

As the vote fraud issues have become common knowledge, the mainstream media has taken to insulting bloggers on the internet, calling them conspiracy theorists and the like. I would like to suggest to these supposed reporters, that if they were doing their jobs in the first place, America wouldn’t be in this situation and bloggers wouldn’t have to do their jobs for them. American journalists have failed our country so many times, from lamely ignoring the lack of evidence for WMD’s before the war in Iraq, to helping prop up Bush every step of the way in his absurd agenda for our country. When it was discovered that Bush had something rectangular on his back in the debates, and was most likely wired and cheating, the media tried to pretend it didn’t happen. When that didn’t work, they explained it away as a wrinkle when everyone could see clearly that is was something more. Bush even stated on TV that he ’didn’t know what that was- uh- I mean it was a wrinkle’. Once again Bush blatantly lies to the American people and we are supposed to let it go? It is amusing that the mainstream media even expects us to trust them anymore.

I do believe in attempting to cover up this fraudulent election, American media has stooped to an all time low, but of course we all expected it. The fact is however, that we no longer need them. The people have the power to think for themselves and that is exactly what is happening. The American people see the truth, and we will rise to the occasion to save our democracy, with or without the help of the mainstream media.

Scott Petersons boat had scratches on the bulkhead! Dan Abrams know this. As does Joe Scarborough. And Joes been there before with this kind of shit! Poor Bill O’reilly had to suffer the anguish of those sex allegations and he almost felt like he couldn’t cover Peterson enough for the rest of us. But thank god Bill got back on the air. Attention walmart shoppers YOUR COUNTRY IS FUCKED!!!!!

    • Anyone with any sense can see that there is no liberal bias in the mainstream media — quite the contrary. We knew that the pre-election polling showing Bush in the lead were set up so that no one would be shocked after they stole another election.

      And the mainstream media never, ever called Bush and his administration to account for all of the mistakes, misdeeds, lies and cover-ups over the last four years and throughout this election.

      I am devistated about what has happened to my country and to democracy.

      I hope the powers that be are unable to regulate Internet speech because I am one of those Americans who look for the truth here rather than listening to the Scott Peterson trial on NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX.

    • The Reich Whine knows there is no "Liberal bias" in the media. What they mean by "Liberal bias" is _fact_. If the facts are not to their liking, they label the facts "Liberal bias".

      Their aim is to create an atmosphere in which everything is relative, so that facts which refute their lies are devalued to "opinion". And thus their lies are elevated to "point of view" — as if they have legitimacy.

      They are the ultimate in leveling dumbing-downers: they want you to believe that an uninformed opinion is the equal not only of informed opinion but also of fact.

      That’s how propaganda works, and how they pollute the intellectual environment and political discourse with their facsicst anti-democratic poison.

      Being aware of those facts makes their nonsensical assertions of blatant fictions as lies as if instead fact and truth clear: they intend for their lies and fictions to supplant reality and reason. That’s why Bushit’s world view is upside down: white is black, black is white, lie is truth, truth is lie.

      Thus we get the utterly unfounded wingnut assertion that the mainstream media made up stories so Bushit would lose, when in fact the media has made every effort to avoid even the most blatant of questions about Bushit: where was he when he went "missing" — AWOL long enough to have deserted — from his military obligations? And why the same media spent weeks reporting the Swift Lying Lying Liars for Bushit lies, without asking whether those lies were true or false: because most mainstream "journalists" are as arrogant, insulated, and elitist as Bushit, and resent anyone, such as Kerry, thinking they might be good enough to play on the same level aw they.

      Recall Jennings disturbance when the cameras briefly caught the anti-Bushit demonstrations in DC on 1/21/2001? Why was he disturbed by that reality? Because it didn’t fit with his fictional presentation of "reality" in America. The wingnuts were disturbed by that reality also, because their enemy is truth and reality. Tell the truth to their faces and they crumbe to dust like vampires in sunlight.

  • Margaret is absolutely correct. Clearly this administration systematically lies, manipulates, and deceives the people, and cynically expects us to continue to believe the "moral myth" they perform for us.(Nothing is what it seem with this administration - except for that box on Bush’s back.)
    Sadly, the media has betrayed their sacred duty. I agree with Margaret, our only hope is to take matters into our own hands. The people have restored their democracy before and we can do it again.

  • Bush fascists first greased the media with millions in tax breaks then, just before Nov. 2 promised more of the same. This form of bribery worked wonders in the hide-the-fraud department, as incident after incident was intentionally ignored. Just follow the money and you’ll find corruption.

  • This is exactly what I have been doing for more than two months now. I waited and waited for the mainstream media to start telling us the truth instead of covering up for the Bush administration. The only reporter that I listen to is Keith Olbermann, the rest of them stink. I can read and I can make up my own mind and do not need ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC (except Olbermann) and FOX tell me what to think. I will get my news from the internet from independent news journalists. The mainstream media have NO credibility at all as far as I am concerned. I miss people like Walter Cronkite who told us the truth. In my 77 years I have never experienced anything like what is happening in journalism today.

  • The mass misinformation media has not had any credibility since post World War I days when patriotic newspaper editors kept us out of the treasonous League of Nations. I give the liars only a half hour a day to listen to their lies (the 10PM news, which I watch with my wife). The rest of my news I get from reliable internet sources like bigeye and thetruthseeker. I just discovered bellaciao tonight from an article link from bigeye and I am very impressed.
    I do not subscribe to any daily or weekly fascist rag sheets. I do not listen to hate radio. And I limit myself to 30 minutes per day of Fascist Network News (FNN). Boycott the liars! We need to weaken the dolts’ confidence in the mass misinformation media.

    • Right on Milton and you others who say boycott the liars and pass it on...hit them where they live, don’t subscribe to their yellow press and don’t support the people who advertise on it...I signed up for satelite dish service from Canada, and even though they have US stations too, I never watch them, and I feel good knowing that my money isn’t going directly for US bullshit. There is a boycott of shopping for the holidays starting and it is a good time to reconsider supporting Wal-mart and the other exploiters of the world...just say no to exploitation in the name of Christmas spirit. Lets make 2004 the year we stayed away from the corporate wasting of the planet...let’s all work to make it the poorest shopping numbers on record...take back our country in the ways it is possible...to hell with consumerism and the politics of big corporate contributions to the evil doers in Washington.

    • I stoped watching all news channel 6 months ago when the news media was trashing Kerry... only one I watch is, Keith Olbermann and Jon Stweart. I am ready to cancel my cables as I feel that, I am paying out too much money for something I am not getting back in retrun. Thank goddness, I got my computer!!! :-)
