On June 23, 2008, I interviewed Michael T. Heaney and Ms. Melody Weinstein, in Baltimore, MD. They are working on a documentary on the Antiwar Movement which will be be centered around the presidential election of 2008. The film’s working title is: “Party in the Street: The Antiwar Movement and the 2008 Election.”

On June 19, 2008, I interviewed Derek Cooper at a protest action in Baltimore City relating to the ongoing health care crisis in this country. Mr. Cooper is 34 years old and suffers from a “chronic disease.” He has no health insurance and his current medical debts exceed $36,000. Maryland’s Health Insurance officials have “refused” to help him. Mr. Cooper says that they figure: “I should just die!” The governor of Maryland is Martin O’Malley. Saddam Hussein was flooding the world OIL! market with cheap, er, low cost petroleum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petroleum i.e. (sweet light crude http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_... ), as long as he was in power the world had access to cheap OIL!. It cost him his life.
